The Ministry of MSMEs continues to expand access to financing for business owners through the People's Business Credit (KUR) program. KUR is highly beneficial for individuals who want to start a business or need additional working capital. Business owners can apply for People's Business Credit through various participating banks, including Bank Jakarta. One entrepreneur who has benefited from Bank Jakarta's People's Business Credit is Firdaus Hamid, a security officer at a private university in Depok, West Java. "It turns out that my workplace, even though it's outside Jakarta, chose to use Bank Jakarta's services," he said. Firdaus explained that he received a People's Business Credit (KUR) loan from Bank Jakarta, which he used to support his grocery store business. The KUR offer came because he was a member of Indo Grosir in the East Jakarta area. "The process was easy. The funds were disbursed within just two weeks, so I could start selling right away," he said while showing a photo of a Bank Jakarta EDC machine. "The payment system has been reliable so far. There have been no issues." The loan was used to establish a grocery store called Toko Mamah Razzan in Pondok Rajeg, Cibinong, Bogor, West Java, directly across from Edelweis Regency 1 housing complex. Today, many new housing developments are emerging rapidly in the border area between Bogor and Depok. Firdaus saw this as an opportunity to open a staple goods store. "At least it helps keep food on the table," he said. Firdaus expressed his gratitude to Bank Jakarta for providing opportunities to micro-business owners from various suburban areas. "I'm grateful that there are institutions willing to support small people like me. I hope Bank Jakarta continues to grow and makes all its services even easier," said the Depok-born entrepreneur.
