Growing Performance, UUS Bank DKI Wins 2021 Iconomics Syariah Award

Jakarta - Recording positive financial performance growth in 2020, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) was named as one of the recipients of the Best UUS award in the 2021 Iconomics Syariah Award organized by The Iconomics. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djuraini in his written statement in Jakarta (02/2).
As is known, this award was given to 83 sharia financial industry players who have a track record of good financial performance, have a good level of health in terms of risk profile, good corporate governance, and earnings and capital.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djuraini said, "representing the entire management of Bank DKI, I would like to express my gratitude for the appreciation of the award that has been given. This award is a sign of the increasing trust of stakeholders including customers in UUS Bank DKI."
Herry added, until the end of 2020 UUS Bank DKI had distributed financing amounting to IDR 5.99 trillion. This figure is dominated by the distribution of financing to the productive sector amounting to IDR 4.06 trillion, or 67.75% of total financing. As for the consumer sector in 2020, UUS Bank DKI recorded financing distribution of IDR 1.93 trillion. Furthermore, Herry said that DPK UUS Bank DKI in 2020 grew 125.60% amounting to IDR 3.99 trillion as of December 2020 compared to 2019 of IDR 1.77 trillion.
These various financial performance achievements have encouraged an increase in assets which grew by 10.16% from IDR 6.19 trillion as of December 2019 to IDR 6.82 trillion as of December 2020. Bank DKI's UUS profit also experienced growth of 9.55% to IDR 321 billion as of December 2020 compared to the same period in the previous year of IDR 293 billion.
In developing business, UUS Bank DKI also builds synergy with BUMD DKI Jakarta, including through optimizing sharia banking services to PD Dharma Jaya. UUS Bank DKI also provides various sharia financial solutions such as Hajj and Umrah savings. UUS Bank DKI is also trusted to carry out collaborations which include electronic money integration (JakOne Pay) for digital zakat, infaq and sadaqah payment services.
