Optimizing Banking Services, Bank DKI Signs MoU with UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

Jakarta - To provide ease of banking transactions, Bank DKI signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. The signing of the MoU includes the use of banking services and products which was signed by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi and the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Dr. Hj. Amany Burhanuddin Umar Lubis, Lc., M.A in Jakarta (27/5).
Bank DKI Retail & Sharia Director, Babay Parid Wazdi said "A number of Bank DKI banking products and services and the Bank DKI Sharia Business Unit are ready to support payment transactions that take place at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, where this collaboration includes Cash Management System services, opening Current and Payroll accounts, as well as opening regular student accounts for routine tuition bills and other needs."
The signing of the MoU between Bank DKI and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is a form of Bank DKI's support in bringing banking access closer to the world of education, including 14,194 KJMU recipients in DKI Jakarta, of which 1,498 students study at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Babay Parid Wazdi further added that one of the banking conveniences that students, lecturers and staff at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta can achieve is the ease of accessing various banking transactions through the JakOne Mobile application, starting from transfers between accounts, checking balances, payments using the QRIS scan method, payments at various merchants to zakat and donations through various institutions and foundations.
In the future, Bank DKI will also continue to develop digital banking products and services owned by Bank DKI through JakOne Community Apps to accommodate changes in customer behavior and society which is increasingly moving towards digital services. JakOne Community Apps is a digital banking service to encourage the implementation of financial inclusion and through the development of digital products and services. The JakOne Community Apps themselves consist of JakOne Mobile, JakOne Abank, JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, and Ancol Apps. And currently, the latest, Bank DKI also presents Cardless Mobile Cash Withdrawal and Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) services.
Apart from utilizing banking products, in this collaboration it was also agreed that UIN Syarif Hidayatullah students would also have the opportunity to carry out research and internship programs at the Bank DKI Work Unit. This is a form of Bank DKI's support and concern in developing banking insight for students who will later have a career in the banking sector.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Hj. Amany Burhanuddin Umar Lubis, Lc., M.A said "We welcome the collaboration with Bank DKI in the context of utilizing banking products and services whose benefits can improve the quality of banking transaction services for students and staff of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta"
BPD Synergy Throughout Indonesia
Apart from the educational element, Bank DKI also establishes synergy between BPDs throughout Indonesia. Most recently, Bank DKI and Bank NTT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on digital payments through co-branding of electronic money and digital applications. In this collaboration, Bank DKI will support Bank NTT in implementing non-cash transactions using the digital ecosystem owned by Bank DKI as well as branding chosen by Bank NTT.
In addition, Bank NTT can use Bank DKI's digital platform or E-channel products which will be integrated with JakCard as Bank DKI's prepaid card. It can be used by various merchants who have collaborated with Bank NTT and vice versa.
