Encouraging Market Digitalization, Bank DKI Supports SIAP QRIS at Kedoya Market

Consistently implementing non-cash transactions in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI supports the acceptance of digital payments through SIAP QRIS (Healthy Innovative and Safe Using-Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) via JakOne Mobile at the Monitoring / On Site Activity event by Bank Indonesia at Pasar Kedoya on Thursday, April 14 2022. Present at the event, Deputy Head of Bank Indonesia Representative for DKI Jakarta Province, Suharman Tabrani, Area 5 Manager of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Danu Mulyanto and Bank DKI Fund Sales & Transactional Group Leader, Diki Jatnika. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta, (14/4).
Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, "with the existence of JakOne Mobile, it is hoped that it can encourage the implementation of financial inclusion for MSMEs in DKI Jakarta through the implementation of non-cash transactions. The implementation of QRIS at Kedoya Market is also an embodiment of the collaborative spirit of Jakarta Smart City 4.0 and collaboration between BUMDs of DKI Jakarta. The implementation of non-cash transactions via QRIS is also expected to provide convenience and comfort to visitors."
As is known, as of December 2021, the number of JakOne Mobile users reached 1.51 million users, with a nominal transaction amount reaching IDR 15.48 trillion, and a transaction volume reaching 18.38 million transactions. Herry added, Kedoya Market visitors who have downloaded JakOne Mobile can immediately scan the QR code available at a number of merchants at Kedoya Market.
Apart from JakOne Mobile, Bank DKI also invites MSME players to develop their businesses by becoming agents through the JakOne Abank application. JakOne Abank is an office-less banking service where Bank DKI is present through an agent using a Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) device for paying taxes and levies, paying bills. By becoming a JakOne Abank agent, MSMEs can serve various banking transactions and earn commissions from each transaction.
Suharman Tabrani, Deputy Chief Representative of Bank Indonesia for DKI Jakarta Province, said in this activity, "Bank Indonesia consistently continues to encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions, one of which is through QRIS. As of the end of March 2022, the number of merchants/traders who have used QRIS services has reached 3.4 million merchants or the equivalent of 30% in DKI Jakarta. Continuous efforts to implement non-cash transactions are then carried out through collaboration with Bank DKI. Thanks to Bank DKI, Kedoya Market visitors can now make payment transactions using QRIS.”
Meanwhile, Area 5 Manager of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Danu Mulyanto said, "Kedoya market traders have now been helped by non-cash transactions through Bank DKI. Apart from that, traders have also now utilized Bank DKI's Cash Management System (CMS) services." As support for Perumda Pasar Jaya, Bank DKI also provides non-cash services to Jakgrosir, which is the parent of JakMart in Jakarta. Through JakGrosir, buyers can get goods at cheap and competitive prices. There are 4 categories of buyers who can shop at JakGrosir, namely market traders, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government employees, Perumda Pasar Jaya employees and people who have KJP.
Furthermore, Herry added that as a DKI Jakarta BUMD that supports the development of the MSME sector, Bank DKI provides various credit and financing products for the MSME sector which can also be accessed via the Micro Loan e-Form to apply for credit online anywhere and at any time.
"In the future, through the SIAP QRIS (Healthy Innovative and Safe to Use-Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) non-cash payment application program, it is hoped that society can be more advanced in digital national payments by using QRIS as a fast, easy, cheap, safe and reliable payment tool," concluded Suharman.
