In line with the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI urges customers who still have to travel using public transportation to avoid physical contact while in public transportation areas and reduce cash transactions, such as when they want to top up their JakCard/JakLingko which is usually done by exchanging cash. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta (13/04).

Herry said that JakLingko and JakCard card owners don't need to worry because they can top up using the JakOne Mobile application instead of cash. "Faster, more practical, easier and certainly safer, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic," said Herry, continuing to urge customers to carry out non-cash transactions.

"To top up JakCard/JakLingko, customers simply log in to the JakOne Mobile application on their smartphone, select the JakCard top-up option, stick the JakCard on the back of the smartphone and tap the 'stick card' option, select the top-up nominal then select the source of funds (from JakOne Pay electronic money or a savings account," said Herry.

As is known, since March 24 2020, top up transaction services and card purchases at all bus stops will be stopped by PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta). This means that all customers are required to ensure they have a JakCard card with sufficient balance when they arrive at the bus stop. This can be made easier by topping up JakCard & JakLingko via JakOne Mobile.

For information, JakOne Mobile is a digital financial service application consisting of mobile banking and electronic money which can be used to carry out transactions for daily needs at various merchants collaborating with Bank DKI. Customers can also carry out transfer transactions between accounts or between banks, pay various bills and shop on e-commerce using JakOne Mobile from home.

Bank DKI also invites customers and all levels of society to help the victims of Covid-19 and handle the prevention of the spread of Covid-19. "These funds will later be used to support efforts to prevent and handle the spread of Covid-19. Let's spread the common good by sharing with others through Bank DKI Peduli with accounts 101.20.12345.5 and 701.07.00003.0 for Bank DKI Syariah accounts," concluded Herry.
