Holding Financial Literacy and Vaccination for Students Collaboration of OJK, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Bank DKI for the World of Education

Jakarta – As part of efforts to increase financial literacy and continue support for accelerating the vaccination program for the people of DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI is holding activities entitled financial literacy and vaccination centers aimed at DKI Jakarta students at SMA Negeri 111, North Jakarta. "This activity was held as a manifestation of collaboration with the Financial Services Authority, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Bank DKI for the world of education, especially for students in DKI Jakarta." This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in a written statement in Jakarta (31/08).
This activity, which took place with strict health protocols, began with the implementation of financial literacy activities regarding Bank DKI banking products and services aimed at KJP Plus recipients. Financial literacy participants were also introduced to the One Account One Student (KEJAR) program. which is one of the OJK and banking industry programs to continue to encourage programs to increase financial literacy and inclusion for student groups. For information, as of July 2021, Bank DKI has 1.31 million Kejar Number of Accounts consisting of 1.12 million KJP holders, 183 thousand Simpel Savings account holders, as well as 4.3 thousand non-KJP non-Simple Savings accounts. On this occasion, Bank DKI carried out the distribution of ATM cards and Jakarta Smart Card savings books, which is one of the social assistance programs of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Apart from literacy activities, Bank DKI together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also carried out vaccination center activities for 200 students who received doses of Sinovac vaccine 1 and 2 with the provision of facilities in the form of mobile vaccine cars along with health workers. This is part of Bank DKI's collaboration as a supporter of the Mobile Vaccine Car program which is now also providing vaccinations in schools in DKI Jakarta.
Herry further said that Bank DKI supports the Mobile Vaccine Car program by directly providing two mobile vaccine cars, health workers along with a number of health equipment. Bank DKI also contributed as a collaborator to 10 units of mobile vaccine cars for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as well as providing food to health workers during the Mobile Vaccine Car program. Other Bank DKI collaboration vaccination programs include the mobile car vaccination program at places of worship carried out together with DMI DKI Jakarta.
Previously, Bank DKI had carried out Vaccination Center activities starting from July to August 2021 with a total of 7,847 people being vaccinated, consisting of people registering via the JAKI application and the general public. Bank DKI also collaborates with Perumda Pasar Jaya and a number of schools. Apart from that, Bank DKI also provides assistance in various facilities for self-isolation locations for Covid-19 patients prepared by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 5 administrative city areas, including medical equipment and tools as well as other supporting infrastructure.
Herry hopes that the financial literacy program and vaccination center aimed at students can provide benefits to the world of education, especially in DKI Jakarta. Bank DKI also continues to urge customers, including students, to take advantage of non-cash transaction services, one of which is the JakOne Mobile application which is safe, easy and comfortable. "At the same time, of course we hope that the situation will recover soon and Jakarta will return to being healthy and productive," concluded Herry.
