KJP Plus Recipients Now Enter Taman Mini Free
Jakarta, March 20 2025Jakarta - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) together with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) have agreed on a cooperation agreement in the form of free access for students who receive the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus to enjoy all educational tourism at TMII. The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, said that children who receive KJP Plus will certainly get more benefits because they can travel for free at TMII. "Children who get KJP Plus today will get free access to TMII," said Pramono Anung when giving a speech at the event at Balai Agung, DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (20/3/2025).
Pramono said that this collaboration is a form of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's concern for less fortunate communities so they can experience more benefits from the KJP Plus program. "This is part of our efforts to ensure quality education for all Jakarta children, without being constrained by costs." he said. Apart from that, the Governor also emphasized that not only TMII, other facilities such as Ragunan, Ancol, Monas and several museums will be given free access for students who receive KJP Plus.
Pramono further said that there were around 707,622 students in Jakarta who received KJP Plus with details of 580,893 continuing recipients and 126,729 new recipients. It is hoped that this program can ease the burden on parents and provide greater opportunities for children to develop optimally, both in the field of education and cultural experiences. "Hopefully with KJP Plus, Jakarta's children will be more enthusiastic about learning and realizing their dreams. I hope that one day they can become graduates and help their families," he said.
Furthermore, Pramono said, his party is also increasing the value of KJP Plus assistance next year to be greater, so that it can provide even more benefits for students in need. "In particular, I want to say that hopefully the children who receive KJP Plus will be more diligent in studying. Keep pursuing it until you can get KJMU," he concluded.
