Bank DKI Retail and Sharia Director Babay Parid Wazdi said that with Tax Savings, Taxpayers can save in a disciplined and scheduled manner for tax payments. Taxpayers who open a Tax Savings account can also be more flexible in determining the auto-debit date, and can make tax payments in monthly installments. Taxpayers can also use the autodebit facility for Land & Building Tax payments.
Through Tax Savings, Bank DKI hopes to increase the interest of DKI Jakarta residents in making Land and Building Tax payments on time. Moreover, according to Babay Parid, Tax Savings offers attractive interest rates and does not incur administration fees. In the future, Tax Savings can also be used to pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB).
Apart from providing convenience for Taxpayers, Babay Parid further added that Tax Savings is one of Bank DKI's efforts to support increasing local revenue in DKI Jakarta. Babay added, "We (Bank DKI) have developed Tax Savings with various conveniences so that tax payments can be made in a planned and easier way because they can be paid in installments every month, without any hassle because it is done through an auto-debit process so that it is on time and gets special savings interest."
As is known, in 2021, tax payment transactions via the Bank DKI e-Channel will reach 142 thousand transactions with a transaction nominal of IDR 555 billion. Bank DKI also continues to increase the convenience of DKI Jakarta residents in paying local taxes, through the JakOne Mobile application, ATM, EDC for individual customers at all Bank DKI service offices, and the Cash Management System for institutional customers.
Apart from accepting PBB payments, Bank DKI can also accept annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payments via JakOne Mobile. "Currently, JakOne mobile can be used as a transaction tool in paying annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in DKI Jakarta. Taxpayers now only need to scan to pay on the JakOne Mobile feature at the DKI Jakarta SAMSAT payment cashier," said Babay Parid. PKB payments can also be made via Bank DKI ATM and EDC machines.
Bank DKI continues to present various digitalization innovations in banking products and services to provide convenience to taxpayers, accelerate local revenue and encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions in DKI Jakarta.
