Inviting the Community to Care About the Environment, Bank DKI Forms the JakOne Artri Community

Published: 05 October 2020

Jakarta - Realizing concern for the environment, Bank DKI developed the JakOne Artri Community application, a collaboration with partner PT Mountrash Avatar Indonesia. "This application facilitates the JakOne Artri Community which consists of waste sorters, collectors and entrepreneurs who care about environmental sustainability through R3 (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) activities to increase income." This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta (29/9).

Herry added, the JakOne Artri Community aims to increase public awareness of the environment, in this case waste management which can still provide economic value through R3 (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) activities supported by modern applications.

For information, the flow of activities of the JakOne Artri community begins with sorting waste (bottles, plastic cups, paper and so on) by residents, then taking it to the Garbage Collector (Mountrash Point) to be weighed and recorded according to category using the JakOne Artri application. After being recorded, residents will receive money from selling waste non-cashly through the JakOne Artri application.

After the waste is collected, the waste collector will send a notification or ask the waste collector (Mountrash Collection Point) to pick up the waste. Here the waste will be weighed again, and then the results will be paid to waste collectors via the JakOne Artri application non-cashly.

The formation of the JakOne Artri community provides at least three benefits for the community, namely being a source of additional income, adopting an environmentally friendly lifestyle, and making efforts to preserve the earth in a modern way.

For residents, waste collectors and waste entrepreneurs who are interested in the JakOne Artri community, Herry invites them to visit the site bit.ly/jakoneartri to obtain information on participation requirements.

"Of course we want the community, especially in Jabodetabek, who face problems in waste management every day, to be able to actively participate in the JakOne Artri Community to save the Earth together in an easy and practical way." closed Herry.
