Bank DKI Distributes 42,265 Jakarta Elderly Cards and Disability Cards

JAKARTA – Bank DKI is again distributing Jakarta Elderly Cards (KLJ) and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Cards (KPDJ). The KLJ/KPDJ distribution program starts Monday, June 15 to June 28 2020 at 09.00-15.00 WIB. "The distribution area is carried out at 119 location points with 42,265 beneficiaries," said Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, Monday (15/6) in Jakarta.
Herry said that the schedule and distribution points for the two cards are:
· June 15 & 16, West Jakarta Region, 15 distribution points for 4,823 recipients
· June 17 & 18, East Jakarta Region, 14 distribution points, for 5,181 recipients
· June 19 & 22, South Jakarta Region, 11 distribution location points, for 2,812 recipients
· June 20 & 21, West Jakarta and East Jakarta Regions, 28 distribution location points, for 11,301 recipients
· June 23 & 24, Central Jakarta Region, 11 distribution locations, for 2,783 recipients
· June 25 & 26, North Jakarta Region, 10 distribution location points, for 4,552 recipients
· June 27 & 28, South, North and Central Jakarta Regions, 30 distribution location points, for 10,813 recipients
Herry explained that the cards distributed also have various benefits, namely; free Transjakarta rides on 13 corridors, buy subsidized food (rice, meat, chicken, fish and eggs), and also become a JakGrosir member automatically. "Not only that, this card can also be used as a DKI Bank ATM debit card," added Heri while ensuring that the distribution of the two cards would run smoothly.
To KLJ/KPDJ holders, Herry suggested that withdrawals be made via Bank DKI ATMs, because they do not incur any fees. "If a withdrawal is made at another bank's ATM machine, a fee will be charged in accordance with the applicable regulations at that other bank," continued Herry. In order to avoid crowds, he also reminded residents who received KLJ & KPDJ that they did not need to withdraw their funds simultaneously on the same day. "Because the funds that are entitled to you remain safe. "There's no need to worry, the funds that are entitled to KLJ & KPDJ recipients are stored safely at Bank DKI. A penny will not be lost. So you don't have to rush to disburse them," explained Herry.
Apart from that, he also appealed to KLJ/KPDJ holders to always be careful and alert and not give their PIN to other unauthorized people. "For further information, KLJ & KPDJ holders can contact Bank DKI's 24-hour Call Center at 1500 351," he continued.
Herry further said that people who want to take cards still have to comply with health protocols, such as wearing masks, observing safe distances, and always maintaining cleanliness to avoid and prevent the spread of Covid-19. "Bank DKI will ensure that the KLJ and KPDJ distribution process takes place well and in accordance with the Covid-19 prevention health protocol," he continued.
Non-Cash Transactions
On that occasion, Herry also appealed to the public to make non-cash transactions via the JakOne Mobile application in order to reduce transactions through physical activity. JakOne Mobile is a digital banking application from Bank DKI that combines a digital wallet with mobile banking.
Payment needs can be done at your fingertips, starting from inter-bank transfers, paying telephone bills, PDAM, taxes, zakat and donations to paying electricity bills. Other features that JakOne Mobile has include payments via merchants who collaborate with Bank DKI via scan to pay QR Code and also cardless ATM transactions assisted through the JakOne Mobile application.
