Synergizing with KONI DKI Jakarta Province, Bank DKI is Ready to Support the Sustainability of the Careers of Athletes with Achievements in DKI Jakarta
Jakarta, December 19 2024Jakarta – As a form of support and concern for the outstanding Athletes of DKI Jakarta Province, Bank DKI together with the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of DKI Jakarta Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Commitment of BUMD with KONI of DKI Jakarta Province for Athletes who Win Gold Medals at PON XXI/2024 Aceh-North Sumatra. Director of Commercial and Institutional Affairs at Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini, said that the opportunity to have a career at Bank DKI was given to athletes who had won gold medals at the XXI/2024 Aceh-North Sumatra PON event as a form of appreciation from the company.
Herry further said that Bank DKI would accept recommendations from outstanding athletes who won gold medals from KONI DKI Jakarta Province to take part in recruitment at Bank DKI. "Bank DKI as a BUMD of DKI Jakarta Province, always supports the development of the potential of the nation's children, including the development and coaching of athletes who have made a real contribution to Jakarta," said Herry.
The XXI Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) 2024 which will take place from 9 - 20 September 2024 will take place involving 39 contingents from 38 provinces and the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) participating. A total of 34 sports (Sports) were competed in the North Sumatra region, while 33 sports were competed in the Aceh region. DKI Jakarta was the fourth largest province to send a total of 1,047 athletes (558 in North Sumatra, and 489 in Aceh) to compete in this national level sporting event. In this event, DKI Jakarta Province athletes achieved achievements by winning 184 gold medals, 150 silver medals and 145 bronze medals. Regarding the achievements of the DKI Jakarta Province athletes who were in second place in the final standings at PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra 2024, Herry representing Bank DKI on the same occasion also expressed his congratulations and appreciation. "With great pride, we congratulate the coaches, assistant coaches and officials as well as the proud athletes of DKI Jakarta Province, these achievements have made the name of DKI Jakarta Province proud." Harry said.
In line with this, the Chairman of KONI DKI Jakarta Province, Hidayat Humaid expressed his appreciation to Bank DKI and BUMD DKI Jakarta Province for providing opportunities for athletes to develop their careers in a sustainable manner. "This initiative is a form of synergy between KONI DKI Jakarta Province and BUMDs DKI Jakarta Province which is in line with support for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government programs, especially in efforts to develop youth achievements in preparing the generation to welcome Golden Indonesia 2045." Hidayat said.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, said Bank DKI hopes that the synergy built with KONI DKI Jakarta Province in terms of recruiting outstanding athletes can optimize the potential possessed by athletes, so that they can contribute to the banking industry and economy in the future.
