Encouraging Non-Cash Payments, Synergy between Bank DKI and Tokopedia Ready to Support the Vision of Jakarta as a Global City
Jakarta, July 22 2024Jakarta – In order to support tourism development in Jakarta, Bank DKI is collaborating with Tokopedia, one of the e-commerce platforms in Indonesia as the official sales partner for the Jakarta Tourist Pass. "Through this synergy, the Jakarta Tourist Pass can be easily accessed and purchased by the public via the Tokopedia platform, which makes tourist travel easier in Jakarta," said the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus Haryoto Widodo in a written statement in Jakarta on (06/07).
Agus explained that collaboration with Tokopedia is a strategic step in strengthening the digital ecosystem in Jakarta. "Apart from making it easier for tourists to use public transportation and other tourist services, the Jakarta Tourist Pass is also a joint effort to make Jakarta a modern and integrated global city," said Agus.
On a different occasion, Bank DKI's Director of Technology & Operations, Amirul Wicaksono said that the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is a collaboration product between Bank DKI and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Service (Disparekraf), is designed to make it easier for tourists to access and use various public transportation services in Jakarta on a cash less basis. "With the Jakarta Tourist Pass, it is hoped that it can encourage the growth of the tourism sector by providing convenience and comfort for tourists," he explained.
Coinciding with this synergy, Bank DKI and Tokopedia are issuing Jakarta Tourist Pass cards with special designs in limited quantities, as well as attractive promos, which can be ordered via the Tokopedia platform during the promo period.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi hopes that the Jakarta Tourist Pass can have a positive impact on the tourism sector thereby helping economic growth in Jakarta. "It is also hoped that this initiative can encourage Jakarta to become a more attractive and competitive tourist destination on the international stage," added Arie.
