Recording Positive Performance Growth, Bank DKI Wins the 2022 Business Indonesia Financial Award

Jakarta – Successfully recording positive performance growth in the second quarter of 2022, has led Bank DKI to win the "Best Performance Bank" award in the BPD category (Assets > IDR 30 Trillion) at the 2022 Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award (BIFA).
The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support given to Bank DKI by all customers, stakeholders and work partners. This support provides enthusiasm for Bank DKI to continue to grow and produce positive performance.
In general, the Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award 2022 (BIFA) is an award given to financial institutions in Indonesia including banking, insurance, multi-finance, securities and other categories in the financial sector. The judging selection consists of two stages, namely quantitative selection and then submission to the qualitative stage with the assessment and consideration of the jury.
"We are grateful that this award for Bank DKI's performance is the result of the transformation efforts carried out by the company since 2021. In this case, Bank DKI is on the right track for the changes we have made," said Fidri.
Based on the audited financial report for the period June 2022, Bank DKI succeeded in recording profit growth of 30.64% (yoy) to IDR 504.90 billion from the previous quarter II 2021 of IDR 386.47 billion. Bank DKI's financial performance indicators which also recorded good growth include total assets which grew by 28.99%, from IDR 56.73 trillion in the second quarter of 2021 to IDR 73.17 trillion in the second quarter of 2022. As a result, this asset growth was above the average asset growth for the national banking industry in the second quarter of 2022 of 9.54%.
Bank DKI also recorded credit growth of 20.15% in the second quarter of 2022 to IDR 43.64 trillion compared to the second quarter of 2021 of IDR 36.32 trillion. This credit growth is far above the average credit growth for the national banking industry in the second quarter of 2022 of 10.66%. Credit growth occurred in all segments, with the micro segment having the highest growth percentage of 34.77% in the second quarter of 2022. This growth in credit distribution was also supported by improvements in Bank DKI's asset quality, which was marked by a decrease in the NPL ratio, recorded at 2.26% in the second quarter of 2022 or an improvement compared to the second quarter of 2021 of 3.03%.
Apart from credit, Bank DKI also managed to record growth in Third Party Funds (DPK) of 35.12% (yoy) from IDR 44.95 trillion in the second quarter of 2021 to IDR 60.73 trillion in the second quarter of 2022. This DPK growth is above the average DPK growth for the national banking industry in the second quarter of 2022 which was 9.13%.
Furthermore, Fidri added, "This award further encourages Bank DKI people to provide the best service. Apart from that, Bank DKI will continue to innovate through efforts to simplify business processes by developing digital-based products and services such as the JakOne Mobile super apps, JakOne Pay simple apps, and JakOne Abank for MSMEs."
Received a number of prestigious awards and certifications
In line with its performance growth, Bank DKI also received a number of awards in 2022, including the title of 15 Best Banks according to Forbes Indonesia Magazine and being the only BPD in this award, the 27th Infobank Awards in the Special Performance Bank category in the Core Capital Bank Group (KBMI) 2 category with assets of IDR 50 trillion to under IDR 100 trillion, the Golden Trophy (Performance predicate "Very Good" for 5 consecutive years and the performance predicate "Very Good" in the KBMI 2 category (Assets IDR 50 trillion to under IDR 100 trillion) to the 2022 TOP GRC Awards as well as other awards in the fields of human resources, technology, digital banking, SME Financing, corporate image, and awards in the field of sharia banking.
Apart from that, Bank DKI also succeeded in obtaining a number of important certifications, namely SNI ISO 37001:2016 Certification concerning Anti-Bribery Management Systems issued by TUV Nord Indonesia (an International Certification Body from Germany which is recognized by the National Accreditation Committee) and ISO 27001:2013 Certification concerning Information Security Management Systems for the SuperApps JakOne Mobile Service issued by TUV Rheinland Indonesia.
