Synergy between Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya Presents JakEz Solution for Digitalization of Traditional Market Levy
Jakarta, November 28 2024Jakarta – The synergy between Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya presents JakEz, a digital platform designed to support the non-cash market levy payment process, which was ceremonially launched at Mayestik Market by the Director of Technology and Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, the Director of Commercial and Institutional Affairs of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini, and officials from Perumda Pasar Jaya on Thursday (28/11).
Bank DKI Commercial and Institutional Director Herry Djufraini said, "JakEz is a digital solution that allows levy payment transactions to be more practical and efficient, through various payment methods, such as debit, QRIS, and prepaid cards. Bank DKI supports market traders to adapt to the increasingly developing cashless ecosystem. In addition, transparency in recording levies will encourage the optimization of Perumda Pasar Jaya's income," said Herry.
On the same occasion, Bank DKI Director of Technology and Operations Amirul Wicaksono added that this collaboration also strengthens Jakarta's digital transformation towards a global city. "Through JakEz, Bank DKI presents a system that not only makes it easier for traders to pay fees but also makes it easier for market managers to monitor income in real time. This is a form of synergy between BUMD and BUMN to encourage the digitalization of the people's economic sector," said Amirul.
JakEz is a digital service platform developed by Bank DKI together with Perumda Pasar Jaya, to support a non-cash market levy payment system, replacing conventional payment methods. JakEz has been used on a limited basis since February 2023 in several markets, such as Pasar Sunan Giri and Pasar Baru, and is now expanding its scope to serve more traders in several markets managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya. This innovation complements various collaborations that have been carried out between Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya, including the launch of the JaKios application which makes it easier for prospective traders to rent business premises digitally.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that the launch of JakEz was not just a technological innovation, but also a real step in encouraging inclusive digital transformation. "We invite all parties to utilize JakEz services as a joint effort to support people's economic empowerment and create a stronger digital ecosystem," concluded Arie.
