Bank DKI Provides Easy Access to Education Fee Loans for Gunadarma Students
Jakarta, February 20 2024Jakarta – Bank DKI presents the Student Loan which is a special loan program to help students finance their tuition fees, which was marked by the ceremonial signing of the Cooperation Agreement between Bank DKI and Gunadarma University, by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI Henky Oktavianus, and the Chancellor of Gunadarma University Prof. Dr. Eko Sri Margianti, SE.,MM witnessed by the Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in Jakarta on Tuesday (20/02). Present on this occasion, the Coordinating Minister for Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P.
For information, Student Loan is a loan program with a multi-purpose scheme which aims to provide affordable and easily accessible financial solutions for students who want to pursue higher education but are facing financial difficulties. This program is an innovative step from Bank DKI to support wider access to education for Indonesia's young generation.
Bank DKI Retail & Sharia Director, Henky Oktavianus, at the signing of the Agreement, revealed that Bank DKI is very committed to supporting the young generation in pursuing their dreams in the field of education. Henky added that the Bank DKI Student Loan program is a concrete form of this commitment, providing reliable financial solutions for students, especially Gunadarma University students who come from various backgrounds.
One of the superior features of this program is the flexibility of application, namely those who apply for loans have the option of working students or student guardians. This is designed to provide loan comfort and security for students so they can focus fully on their education without having to worry about monthly payments. Bank DKI also offers competitive interest rates and payment terms that can be adjusted to student needs. In this way, it is hoped that this program can help reduce the financial burden that often becomes an obstacle for many students in pursuing higher education.
Apart from that, taking advantage of the momentum of this collaboration, Bank DKI and Gunadarma University also collaborated regarding the use of banking and educational products and services, which was marked by the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI Herry Djufraini, and the Chancellor of Gunadarma University Prof. Dr. Eko Sri Margianti, SE., MM. Apart from that, on the same occasion, the Bank DKI Student Loan Program was also presented by the Vice President of the Bank DKI Consumer Credit Group, Zulfikryshah, as well as the Vice President of the Bank DKI Fund Sales & Transactional Group, Yuniar T. Manik, as well as providing an explanation of the process mechanism and other Bank DKI service options that can be utilized by students.
With this collaboration, Bank DKI also provides banking services for Gunadarma University, including the Cash Management System (CMS), opening university checking accounts, opening payroll accounts for all university employees, opening regular student accounts, paying and managing tuition bills via Virtual Account (VA), as well as utilizing the Bank DKI Learning Center as a learning tool for Gunadarma University students.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI continues to be committed to being a trusted partner for students in achieving their educational dreams, through the Student Loan program it is hoped that it can be a significant step in supporting more inclusive and equitable access to education in Indonesia.
