Bank DKI Ready to Support E-Formula at Monas

Bank DKI President Director Zainuddia Mappa expressed his support for the Formula E electric car racing event around Monas to encourage DKI Jakarta's economic growth. "We will support it, it is very good for economic growth in Jakarta," said Zainuddin after the National Simpeda Savings Draw in Jakarta (22/02).
Zainuddin said that the economic impact of the Formula E racing event had an indirect effect on Jakarta's economy. According to him, this event could be a means of tourism promotion that could bring in income for Jakarta.
Zainuddin also said that he had seen the development of the Formula E or E-Prix events in Singapore and Putra Jaya which had been successful. For this reason, he is optimistic that the implementation of Formua E in Jakarta can be carried out well for the sake of regional economic progress. "Because of that, we as one of the BUMDs (Regional Owned Enterprises) in Jakarta must support it," he said.
In his form of support for Formula E, Zainnudin said this would adapt to the implementation ecosystem currently underway. Bank DKI's support for the implementation of E-Formula, apart from being support for the Provincial Government program, is also a manifestation of BUMD synergy where Jakarta Propertindo which was appointed as the organizer is also a BUMD under the auspices of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
