Accelerating Digital Payment Business, Bank DKI Collaborates with BC Card Asia Pacific

Jakarta – Bank DKI is again expanding collaboration as an effort to optimize digital business performance, most recently by collaborating with BC Card Asia Pacific, which is the largest payment system company in Korea, in terms of cooperation in implementing a retail payment system in the form of an Acquiring service system. The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out by the Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono and the CEO of BC Card Asia Pacific, Hong Seok Man in Jakarta on Tuesday (07/03/2023). Also watching were the Head of Regional Financial Services Authority 1 DKI Jakarta & Banten, Roberto Akyuwen, CEO of MJL, Myoung Jun Lee, and CEO of BC Card Korea, Choi Wonseok.
Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between Bank DKI and BC Card Asia Pacific and hoped that it could bring positive benefits to both parties. "The collaboration carried out is an adaptive step by Bank DKI in an effort to expand the convenience of banking services and encourage the acceleration of financial inclusion through a reliable digital payment ecosystem. This collaboration is also in line with the momentum of the digitalization transformation carried out by the Company since 2021." In line with that, the CEO of BC Card Korea, Choi Wonseok also gave a positive view of the existing strategic cooperation. "With its characteristics and various consistently positive business achievements, Bank DKI is one of the potential strategic business partners to collaborate and continue to develop together," he said.
As is known, the Acquiring service system is a form of service that makes it easier to pay using cards (APMK), both debit cards and credit cards, in daily payment activities.
Under the leadership of the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, Bank DKI continues to strive to provide capable digital services through various collaborations, including the development of cross-border cooperation services for overseas payments, collaboration in the use of cloud computing technology to strengthen digital banking services and ecosystems. Finally, Bank DKI successfully collaborated with Bank BCA and the PRIMA network to utilize Cardless Cash Deposit and Withdrawal services on the BCA ATM network, Bank BNI ATMs and CIMB Niaga with the PRIMA network logo spread throughout the archipelago. In terms of non-cash transaction services using cards, Bank DKI continues to expand the acceptance of JakCard which functions as an electronic money card in various modes of transportation in DKI Jakarta, entrance tickets to a number of museums, as well as transactions at various merchants collaborating with Bank DKI.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that this collaboration confirms Bank DKI's commitment to innovation and expanding collaboration to increase the competitiveness of products and services. Along with the implementation of the 5.0 Transformation Program, Bank DKI is increasingly adaptive in providing digital banking solutions that are more personal, mobile and reliable, through the New JakOne Mobile application which comes with a more attractive, user friendly appearance and increasingly complete features. Starting from paying various bills and shopping online, scanning transactions with QRIS, topping up electronic money balances, giving alms and donating, paying taxes and levies, to securing emergency funds through opening deposits and opening savings accounts online.
One of the newest features is the Mobile Cash feature for cardless cash withdrawal transactions at Bank DKI ATMs and ATMs of other collaborating banks, such as Bank BCA, Bank BNI, Bank CIMB Niaga with the Prima logo. "Apart from providing convenience, the security of the Super Apps JakOne Mobile application has been tested by receiving ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System certification for the provision of Super Apps JakOne Mobile services," concluded Arie.
