Jakarta – Appreciation for Bank DKI's ability to maintain high capital adequacy in the midst of the pandemic, Bank DKI succeeded in winning the award as The Strongest Big Regional Bank by Capital which was received directly by Bank DKI's Director of Retail & Sharia, Babay Parid Wazdi at the CNBC Indonesia Awards 2022 in Jakarta (9/11).
Bank DKI Retail & Sharia Director, Babay Parid Wazdi, on this occasion expressed his gratitude for the award given to Bank DKI, for him this award is a symbol of optimism regarding the performance achievements achieved by all Bank DKI personnel. For your information, the CNBC Indonesia Awards is an award event for players in various industries who have successfully adapted in the midst of the pandemic. This award was achieved because Bank DKI was deemed capable of maintaining a relatively high capital adequacy ratio. Bank DKI's leverage ratio is also considered the healthiest when compared to peers which can be used to support the company's expansion strategy.
Babay Parid explained, in line with the adaptation that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, Bank DKI was still able to achieve performance through comparison with other BPDs based on seven financial ratio indicators, namely CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), ROA (Return On Assets), ROE (Return on Equity), LDR (Loan Deposits Ratio), BOPO (Operational Expenditure to Operational Income), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Minimum Statutory Reserve (GWM). "Through this capital adequacy, Bank DKI can distribute credit while still prioritizing the principle of prudence." Babay said.
Babay Parid revealed that in facing 2023, Bank DKI has prepared a transformation strategy in several lines, namely business transformation, IT transformation and human resource transformation. This is done to maintain Bank DKI's business growth. "We are carrying out a digital landing transformation, now distributing multipurpose credit and micro credit can be done online. In the HR sector, we have even formed a learning center to develop Bank DKI's human resources. In fact, we want our human resources to become resources for DKI and nationally," concluded Babay Parid.
In line with Babay Parid, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, also said that up to the third quarter of 2022, Bank DKI posted net profit growth of 28.83% (YoY), from Rp. 564 billion in September 2021, to Rp. 726 billion in September 2022. Apart from that, Bank DKI also recorded credit growth of 26.82% (YoY), from Rp. 36.9 trillion previously. in September 2021 to IDR 46.7 trillion in September 2022. This credit growth was followed by improvements in asset quality as marked by a decrease in the gross Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio from 2.93% in September 2021, to 1.81% in September 2022 with Loan at Risk (LAR) 13.68%, which was previously 17.32% in the same period last year.
In terms of Third Party Funds (DPK), Arie said that Bank DKI was still able to record growth of 29.51%, from IDR 47.1 trillion in September 2021, to IDR 60.9 trillion in September 2022. These various performance achievements encouraged an increase in total assets of 26.90% from IDR 59.29 trillion in September 2021, to IDR 75.24 trillion in September 2022. This award is also a enthusiasm for Bank DKI to continue to innovate, and continue the transformation that began in 2021 in improving the quality of products and services to customers, as well as being able to contribute to driving the pace of the Indonesian economy amidst and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Arie further added that Bank DKI's ability to survive and even provide positive growth in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is an indicator of the success of the Transformation 5.0 program that Bank DKI has initiated since 2021.

The 2022 CNBC Awards adds to the length of awards that Bank DKI has received, where throughout 2022, Bank DKI has received 24 awards. Previously, Bank DKI has also won awards as TOP BUMD Awards 2022, Indonesia Best BPD Awards 2022, and was named 15th out of 20 Best Banks according to Forbes Indonesia magazine. Not only that, Fidri Arnaldy as President Director of Bank DKI was named in the TOP 100 CEOs by Infobank Magazine.
Apart from that, Bank DKI has also received a number of important certifications, namely SNI ISO 37001:2016 Certification concerning Anti-Bribery Management Systems issued by TUV Nord Indonesia (an International Certification Body from Germany which is recognized by the National Accreditation Committee) and ISO 27001:2013 Certification concerning Information Security Management Systems for the SuperApps JakOne Mobile Service issued by TUV Rheinland Indonesia.
