Bank DKI Supports Distribution of Aid to Children of Covid-19 Health Workers

Bank DKI supports the distribution of financial assistance to children of Covid-19 health workers who died while providing health services to Covid-19 patients. The financial assistance handed over at Jakarta City Hall came from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's unexpected Covid-19 funds through the Education Department. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta, (27/08).
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, this is a form of company sympathy for health workers who have struggled in handling Covid-19, and for the survival of abandoned children. "We hope that through this handover we can help continue education for the children of health workers whose parents have died," said Herry.
The amount of funds handed over to students is IDR 6,000,000/year for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) children, IDR 9,000,000/year (SD), IDR 12,000,000/year (SMP), IDR 15,000,000/year (SMA) and IDR 20,000,000/year (Higher Education). Scholarship funding assistance, which was witnessed directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, was given to 12 students and distributed through Bank DKI accounts.
Herry further expressed and invited all elements of society, that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet, so attention to health protocols and vigilance needs to continue to be increased. Until now, Bank DKI continues to implement and advise customers and employees about the health protocols that apply both at the Head Office and service offices.
He also again appealed to customers to make non-cash transactions using the JakOne Mobile application for individual customers and the Cash Management System for agency and corporate customers. "We urge this as a form of prevention and protection for Bank DKI customers and employees through limiting physical contact so that it can significantly reduce the spread of Covid-19," said Herry.
Customers can make transfer transactions between accounts or between banks, pay various bills from home using JakOne Mobile. Through JakOne Mobile, prospective customers can also open online savings or deposit accounts with more attractive interest and can do this without having to visit a Bank DKI service office.
