Expanding Digital Banking Services, Bank DKI Collaborates with BPR Syariah HIK Parahyangan

Jakarta – Encouraging the expansion of digital banking services in the Bandung area, West Java, Bank DKI through the Sharia Business Unit (UUS) has collaborated with the Sharia People's Credit Bank HIK Parahyangan. The collaboration took place at the cooperation signing ceremony which took place in Bandung (2/9) and was attended by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi and the Main Director of PT BPR Syariah HIK Parahyangan, Martadinata. This collaboration was carried out through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement on the Utilization of Digital Banking Services which includes managing financial transactions through the UUS Bank DKI Virtual Account digital service.

Director of Retail & Sharia at Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi said, "This collaboration is expected to be able to open up greater opportunities for the business sector, especially MSMEs in the Bandung area and its surroundings as well as communities, including Islamic boarding schools, in utilizing sharia banking products and services, especially digital banking for the purposes of business development and ease of financial transactions."

The Main Director of BPR Syariah HIK Parahyangan, Martadinata, on the same occasion expressed his thanks and appreciation for Bank DKI's cooperation in collaboration with BPR Syariah HIK Parahyangan. This provides benefits in developing economic growth in the Bandung area, especially the micro sector, through products and services as well as digital banking support from Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit.

Previously, in order to expand business activities in the Bekasi area, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) had also collaborated with Patriot Bekasi Sharia People's Credit Bank (BPRS). This collaboration was carried out through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Utilization of Digital Banking Services which includes managing financial transactions through UUS Bank DKI digital services, banking agency services with JakOne Abank and distributing productive financing to MSMEs in the city of Bekasi and consumptive for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Bekasi City Government.

For information, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) is also participating in the People's Business Credit Program with a target of distributing KUR of IDR 1 trillion to MSMEs. Apart from that, in line with the digital service transformation program being carried out, Bank DKI is providing digital banking solutions for customers through the JakOne Mobile and JakOne Pay applications. Users can carry out Scan by QRIS transactions, top up electronic money, give alms/donations to others and secure emergency funds through opening deposits, or opening savings accounts online anywhere and anytime.

Apart from that, Bank DKI also presents other e-channel services such as the Cash Management System as an internet-based banking service solution for corporate customers to monitor and carry out financial transactions in real time and online. For MSME players, UUS Bank DKI invites them to develop their business by becoming agents through the JakOne Abank application which can serve various banking transactions and earn commissions from each transaction. Due to its achievement of positive financial performance growth, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) also succeeded in receiving the Best Sharia Unit Business category award given by The Iconomics, as well as the Indonesia Sharia Finance Awards 2022 with Outstanding Sharia Banking Product and Development Programs category in the Sharia Business Unit of Conventional Bank category from Media Warta Ekonomi.

Furthermore, Babay Parid hopes that the synergy and collaboration that exists between UUS Bank DKI and BPRS HIK Parahyangan can contribute to easy access to banking services and access to financing for the people of Bandung and its surroundings.

Second Quarter 2022, Bank DKI's Net Profit Grows 30.64%

Closing the second quarter of 2022, Bank DKI succeeded in recording positive performance growth by achieving profit growth of 30.64% Yoy to IDR 504.90 billion from the previous quarter II 2021 of IDR 386.47 billion. Apart from that, Bank DKI also recorded credit growth of 20.15% in the second quarter of 2022 to IDR 43.64 trillion compared to the second quarter of 2021 of IDR 36.32 trillion. Apart from credit, Bank DKI also managed to record growth in Third Party Funds (DPK) of 35.12% (yoy) from IDR 44.95 trillion in the second quarter of 2021 to IDR 60.73 trillion in the second quarter of 2022.

Not only that, as part of its commitment to improving the quality of information security, Bank DKI succeeded in receiving ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Certification for Providing JakOne Mobile Super Apps Services from TUV Rheinland Indonesia. Through this certification, Bank DKI has made an important commitment to fulfill regulations such as Bank Indonesia Regulations (PBI), Financial Services Authority Regulations (POJK), and National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency Regulations (BSSN), considering that banks are a strategic industry that must protect customer data and services, especially in implementing Cyber ​​Security. ISO 27001 helps Bank DKI in managing and mitigating risks or security threats, which is expected to increase customer and work partner confidence in using Bank DKI products and services, especially digital banking products such as the JakOne Mobile application
