Jakarta – Commemorating Bank DKI's 63rd anniversary celebration on (11/04), the Acting (Pj.) Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Heru Budi Hartono expressed the hope that Bank DKI can continue to be a partner in supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Work Program. He also believes that Bank DKI has an important role in the progress of the city of Jakarta, as well as providing excellent banking services to all stakeholders.

"There is great hope that Bank DKI can innovate to build a digital business ecosystem that empowers customers and the business world, including the development of MSMEs in Jakarta, and supports the realization of Jakarta as a Global City," hoped Heru.

In line with that, Bank DKI's Director of Technology & Operations and concurrently Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, through an official statement, explained that at the moment of the Company's 63rd anniversary, the theme was "Growing Sustainably Together with Jakarta", which means focusing on Bank DKI's commitment to continue contributing to the sustainable development of Jakarta as well as showing synergy and close cooperation between Bank DKI and all BUMDs in Jakarta, to achieve the vision of Jakarta as a Global City.

"During its 63 year journey, Bank DKI has continued to play its role as a strategic partner in synergizing business potential involving DKI Provincial Government programs, Jakarta BUMD projects, and with other agencies through mutually beneficial business collaborations, all of which are part of the large DKI Jakarta City business chain," added Amirul.

Support for various DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Programs

Bank DKI continues to be committed to supporting various work programs of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, including the distribution of social assistance to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Apart from that, electronification of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Regional Work Unit (SKPD) budget management through Bank DKI's Cash Management System (CMS) service. By using DKI Bank CMS, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government SKPD can easily monitor budget receipt and expenditure transaction activities on accounts belonging to DKI Jakarta Provincial Government SKPD in real time and more accurately. Bank DKI CMS can also be used to make Bank DKI transfers, inter-bank transfers, salary payments, scheduled transfers and payments, liquidity management and company account consolidation.

Apart from that, Bank DKI's support is also realized through Bank DKI's participation in providing credit and financing for various development projects in DKI Jakarta. As for support for MSMEs in DKI Jakarta as the backbone of the regional economy, including as one of the banks distributing People's Business Credit (KUR), as well as providing credit and financing products with efficient schemes for MSMEs assisted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial PPKUKM Service.

Service Optimization Through Synergy

Not only limited to supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Bank DKI also continues to encourage the optimization of public services through various synergies in order to provide improved digital-based banking services, including supporting a less cash society. Various forms of synergy with DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD), various state and private institutions, cooperation networks of service providers, and optimizing services with various parties, are the agenda that Bank DKI continues to carry out.

Several service optimizations carried out by Bank DKI include digitalization of integrated transportation ticket payments in Jakarta and a number of tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, based on JakCard electronic cards, and digitalization in a number of markets managed by PD Pasar Jaya. Apart from that, the use of banking products and services also continues to be encouraged by collaborating with a number of educational institutions, including Gunadarma University, Pamulang University, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, and most recently Telkom University Bandung and Indonesian Education University (UPI) Bandung. Also collaborating with a number of hospitals in the Jakarta area, including Kebayoran Baru Regional Hospital, Koja Regional Hospital, Jati Padang Regional Hospital, Tarakan Regional Hospital, and the private hospital Pelni Hospital.

Responding to the need for cross-border transactions, Bank DKI has also established synergy with PT Rintis Sejahtera as manager of the PRIMA Network as Bank DKI's commitment to providing the best service and making it easier for customers to carry out domestic and international transactions, so that Bank DKI debit cards with the GPN logo and UnionPay logo can be used for transactions in 180 countries, one of which is Saudi Arabia. In this way, Bank DKI customers who are performing the Umrah pilgrimage in the Holy Land will find it easier to carry out transactions in the form of cash withdrawals, balance checks, and transactions on EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines.

The synergy with PT Rintis also allows Bank DKI customers to make cardless cash withdrawals at ATMs of other banks, including BRI and BCA, besides also being able to do so at BNI ATMs, to the Indomaret network throughout Indonesia.

Apart from that, Bank DKI also facilitates the payment of taxes and levies through features in the JakOne Mobile application, as well as motor vehicle taxes using the Samsat Online Delivery (Si-Ondel) application which is also connected to the JakOne Mobile application.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI's 63rd anniversary was also a momentum for Bank DKI to express its appreciation to all customers, work partners and stakeholders who have supported Bank DKI's long journey.
