Bank Jakarta Wins Indonesia Best CSR in Bank Sector 2026 Award

JAKARTA – Bank Jakarta succeeded in winning the award as Indonesia Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Bank Sector 2026 at the 8th Anniversary Indonesia Best CSR Awards 2026 held by The Iconomics in Jakarta (21/05). This award was given to Bank Jakarta for distributing Corporate Social Responsibility throughout 2025 and providing a significant impact on society.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in his written statement expressed his gratitude to The Iconomics for the award given, and also dedicated the award to all stakeholders. "The implementation of Bank Jakarta's CSR/TJSL is part of the implementation of the principles of Environment, Social, Governance, Implementation of corporate governance and is carried out to support development in Jakarta," said Agus.

Agus further stated that Bank Jakarta's CSR/TJSL program is focused on Education, MSMEs, Environment, Sanitation, Health and Community Empowerment. Throughout 2025, Bank Jakarta has implemented a number of community CSR/TJSL programs that have a direct impact on the community. One of them is the realization of the Environmentally Friendly Sanitation Program through the construction of a Communal Septic Tank Installation with Biogas Utilization (Biodigester) in the Pekayon area, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta in 2025.

Most recently, Bank Jakarta distributed training support assistance for friends with disabilities assisted by the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation (YaSDI). This assistance is a form of Bank Jakarta's commitment to supporting skills improvement, economic independence and competitiveness of people with disabilities in the world of work.

On a separate occasion, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that Bank Jakarta continues to increase the Bank's positive contribution to society through sustainable CSR/TJSL programs. "Bank Jakarta will continue to implement CSR/TJSL which has a direct impact on development in Jakarta, which is expected to increase community empowerment," concluded Arie.
