Published: 20 August 2021

Jakarta – As part of its commitment to improving service quality, Bank DKI has successfully received ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification from the British Standards Institute regarding provisions for procurement and management of fixed assets. The certification was given by the British Standard Institute to the Director of MSE Credit & Sharia Business of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi on Friday, 20 August 2021. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in a written statement in Jakarta (20/8).

Herry Djufraini in his written statement said, "This certification provides Bank DKI stability in carrying out the process of procurement and management of fixed assets to meet various banking operational needs or for customers and stakeholders in an ongoing and sustainable manner and to comply with applicable laws and regulations."

Furthermore, he said that the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 certification received by Bank DKI certainly has many benefits, including a better administration and document system in the company or organization, more controlled risk management, the establishment of basic systems in the company starting from interpersonal rules to managing processes, ensuring processes and stages comply with the rules, as well as a form of control over top management so that they are more focused and consistent in achieving the company's quality targets that have been set.

The company received the ISO 9001:2015 certification from BSI (British Standard Institute), one of the certification bodies which is a counterpart to the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom which has been certified internationally and is a member of the IAF (International Accreditation Forum).

The ISO 9001:2015 system itself is a system for managing the quality of services provided by companies/organizations which is designed to assist companies in ensuring that the company can meet the needs of its customers and stakeholders and can fulfill statutory, legal and regulatory requirements related to products or services.

Furthermore, Herry explained, after receiving ISO 9001:2015 certification, the next stage is the implementation process which will later be applied to the company. Apart from that, several quality improvements that have been carried out by Bank DKI include maximizing service standards, complying with applicable regulations and policies (risk awareness), and implementing the entire ISO 9001:2015 management system on an ongoing basis to support the achievement of business performance.

As for the implementation stage of the ISO 9001:2015 certification audit carried out by the PT Bank DKI Procurement & Fixed Assets Group, it will later become a guide in improving the quality of services within the company, especially in the procurement process and management of fixed assets in the company. "This certification is proof that the governance process running at Bank DKI will continue to be improved and refer to applicable international standards," concluded Herry.
