Bank Jakarta Supports 2025 MSME Convenience & Protection Festival

Jakarta, 27 August 2025 – Bank Jakarta fully supports efforts to empower MSMEs through active participation in the 2025 MSME Convenience & Protection Festival held by the Ministry of MSMEs in the Kota Tua area, Jakarta. This event is an arena for strategic collaboration across ministries, institutions, BUMN/BUMD, and various stakeholders to strengthen the micro business ecosystem in Indonesia.

Head of the DKI Jakarta PPKUMKM Service, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, who was present representing the Governor of DKI Jakarta, emphasized that MSMEs are the backbone of Jakarta's economy as well as an important instrument in reducing social inequality and creating jobs. He also expressed his appreciation for the government's synergy with Bank Jakarta and other stakeholders in ensuring that MSMEs receive adequate financial protection, convenience and access.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in his speech said that Bank Jakarta places support for MSMEs not only as a program, but as part of the institution's identity and responsibility.

We believe that the success of MSMEs is born from a collaborative ecosystem between the government, regulators, financial institutions and the community. Therefore, Bank Jakarta will continue to strengthen its role as a strategic partner in encouraging MSMEs to move up in class, be competitive and be protected," said Agus H. Widodo.

In this festival, Bank Jakarta also emphasized the importance of digitalizing MSMEs. Through the JakOne Abank agency system services, MSME players can not only carry out transactions more easily and efficiently, but also have the opportunity to become financial service partners which opens up additional income opportunities.

Apart from that, Bank Jakarta actively collaborates with various parties in utilizing banking products and services that support the sustainability of micro businesses, ranging from cash management services, savings, current accounts, deposits, to financing facilities.

This festival also presents selected MSME booths displaying superior local products, as well as integrated services ranging from Business Identification Number (NIB) registration, halal certification, SP-PIRT, to IPR/brands. MSME players also receive assistance regarding access to capital, business protection, and digital marketing.
