Presenting Various Transaction Innovations, Bank DKI Wins the 2023 Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards

Jakarta – Bank DKI continues to receive awards after awards. Most recently, Bank DKI was named by the independent institution, Warta Ekonomi as Indonesia's Most Prestigious Company 2023 with Outstanding in Accommodating Various Needs of Public Financial Transactions, KBMI 2 category for the efforts made in expanding the reach of financial services based on digital technology and innovation. The award, which was initiated by Warta Ekonomi, was handed over virtually at the 2023 Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards (IMACO) on Thursday (6/7) and was received directly by the Main Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, dedicated the award he received to all stakeholders, especially customers, shareholders and business partners who continue to place their trust in Bank DKI. "This award is a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's efforts to transform in expanding the reach of financial services based on digital technology and innovation. Including various collaborative steps with various Government, BUMN, BUMD and other private entities as an effort to ensure sustainable business growth of Bank DKI and support the achievement of the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045." concluded Fidri.

In addition, the 2023 Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards (IMACO) completes Bank DKI's award achievements of 53 award categories until the first week of July 2023. "Bank DKI is committed to always being active in encouraging financial inclusion by strengthening collaborative steps with various stakeholders to create innovative digital-based financial service solutions that are able to reach and provide benefits to the wider community." added Fidri, who was recently named Top Banking CEO 2023 by The Iconomics.

At the 2023 Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards, the research team conducted an online survey with 3,756 respondents from all over Indonesia in the period April-June 2023, aged 18 to more than 50 years. After that, the Warta Ekonomi Group research team also used desk research through media monitoring content analysis by taking samples of annual report publications, financial reports and publications in public media.

CEO & Chief Editor of Warta Ekonomi Group, Muhammad Ihsan, explained that the Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company 2023 award was given to Bank DKI which was deemed capable of presenting innovation and transaction service solutions through a technological approach. "As a financial services company, Bank DKI is seen as capable of accommodating various public financial needs such as tax payments, donations and QRIS payments, especially with the presence of the JakOne Mobile super app and the electronic money card, JakCard." added Ihsan.

Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas, who was also present as the keynote speaker, said that economic growth in Indonesia is generally supported by business activities, from various Indonesian sectors and plays a role in supporting the growth of all regions in Indonesia continuously and sustainably. "One of the accelerations in business bureaucracy is to become a bridge to manage company flows so that they are more structured. In terms of card-based non-cash transaction services, Bank DKI continues to expand the acceptance of JakCard as an electronic money card for various DKI Jakarta transportation modes, entrance tickets to museums and tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and BUMD, to transactions at various merchants collaborating with DKI Bank.

Arie further explained that one of the latest forms of innovation to expand financial services, Bank DKI has launched the JakErte feature which makes it easy to manage neighborhood associations (RT) online and integrated with the JakOne Mobile application.
