Supporting Digital Financial Inclusion, Bank DKI Present at FEKDI 2024

Jakarta – Bank DKI continues to support the digital financial inclusion program, by participating in the 2024 Indonesian Digital Financial Economic Forum (FEKDI) which will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center on 1 s.d. 4 August 2024. Bank DKI's presence at this event marks its active role in encouraging digital transformation in the financial sector.

FEKDI, which was initiated by Bank Indonesia together with the Ministry of Economy, with support from related Ministries/Institutions and associations and industry, was held with the theme "Synergy to Strengthen the Digital Economy and Finance and Inclusion for Sustainable Growth", in line with the Government's policy direction to strengthen the stability of the payment system and further accelerate the national digital economy and finance to support sustainable economic growth. FEKDI is an event for policy synergy and showcasing various products and innovations, policy implementation and achievements in developing the digital economic and financial ecosystem.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, in his written statement on Thursday (01/08) said, "Participation in FEKDI 2024 is proof of Bank DKI's commitment to supporting the accelerated digitalization of the financial sector. As a BUMD, Bank DKI carries out its role as a collaborator on economic growth, especially in Jakarta, through various digital innovations to expand accessibility, provide financial services that are more accessible and more efficient for the community," said Agus.

In line with that, Bank DKI's Director of Technology and Operations, Amirul Wicaksono said, "By attending FEKDI 2024, Bank DKI hopes to expand its reach and increase public awareness of the importance of financial digitalization. Bank DKI is also committed to continuing to synergize with various parties to expand an inclusive and sustainable digital financial ecosystem in Indonesia," he stressed. The event was also attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, and Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added, on this occasion Bank DKI also introduced several of its superior digital products, including the JakOne Mobile application which is a mobile banking as well as a mobile wallet, with services ranging from banking transactions, paying various bills and online shopping, transactions with QRIS scans, top up electronic money balances, giving alms and donations, paying taxes and levies, opening deposits and savings accounts online, to the mobile cash feature for cardless cash withdrawal transactions at Bank DKI ATMs and ATMs of other collaborating banks, such as BCA, "BNI, with the Prima logo," explained Arie.

"Apart from that, Bank DKI also presents various initiatives that support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting digital technology, including the JakOne Abank application which allows MSMEs to earn additional income by becoming Bank DKI financial service agents," concluded Arie.
