In the current era of digitalization, cash payments in daily transactions have slowly changed to non-cash. Taking into consideration the ease and speed of the transaction process, non-cash transactions have now become a favorite in every service offered by Financial Services Business Actors, including Bank DKI.
As a form of commitment to implementing non-cash transactions, at the end of 2019 and opening the new year 2020, Ancol together with Bank DKI have now realized the use of Mobile-Point of Sale (M-POS) at all Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Main Gate (PGU) with Bank DKI e-channel services such as JakCard, GPN Debit Cards for both Bank DKI and other banks as well as accepting JakOne Mobile or QRIS QR Code transactions.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, in his statement said, "Bank DKI wants every resident of DKI Jakarta, especially visitors to Ancol, to experience the ease of transactions using e-Channel services at tourist attractions in Jakarta." Bank DKI continues to support the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in socializing non-cash transactions.
Herry added that the use of Bank DKI's e-channel service is quite effective, one of the benefits is to reduce the queue time for vehicles and visitors, "We know that tourist attractions in Jakarta are always crowded with visitors from various groups. Now with this e-channel service, the queue time will be shorter, without thinking about change because it's the right amount."
Apart from Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, JakCard Bank DKI can also be used at Ragunan Wildlife Park and the National Monument as well as the Kota Tua tourist area. For Ragunan Wildlife Park, Bank DKI JakCard can be used to pay for entrance tickets to TMR, Children Zoo and Schmutzer Primate Center. In the Kota Tua tourist area, JakCard can be used as a means of paying for entrance tickets at the Fatahillah Museum, Fine Arts & Ceramics Museum and Magic Art 3D Museum.
With the support of integrated transportation via Transjakarta and MRT Jakarta which also uses JakCard and JakLingko, access for DKI Jakarta residents to various popular tourist attractions has become easy. "This is a manifestation of the non-cash transaction ecosystem built through the synergy of BUMD and SKPD DKI Jakarta," concluded Herry.
