UUS Bank DKI Receives Anugerah Syariah Award

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) won the Anugerah Syariah Republika 2020 (ASR 2020) award in the Best Regional category. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta, (21/12). "Bank DKI would like to express its gratitude for the appreciation of the award that has been given. This award is a sign that the trust of stakeholders including customers is increasing in UUS Bank DKI," said Herry.
The 2020 Anugerah Syariah Republika Award was given to Sharia Commercial Banks BUKU 1, BUKU 2, BUKU 3, BPD Syariah and Sharia Business Units. The awards given include the best, most efficient and most innovative Sharia Commercial Bank and Sharia Business Unit, with assessment methods carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods.
Herry further said that Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit continues to show positive performance. Meanwhile, the realization of financing distribution increased by 25.58% from IDR 4.3 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 5.4 trillion as of September 2020. Financing in the commercial & corporate sector also experienced a significant increase of 45.45% from IDR 2.2 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 3.2 trillion as of September 2020. Apart from that, iB Multi-Purpose financing is also still a favorite for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government ASN, this is This is proven by the consumer credit acquisition figures which still show growth of 5.5% from IDR 1.8 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 1.9 trillion as of September 2020. Bank DKI's UUS assets were recorded to have increased positively by 29.9% from IDR 4.4 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 5.8 trillion as of September 2020.
In terms of Third Party Funds (DPK), UUS Bank DKI showed good growth of 118.75% from previously recorded at IDR 1.6 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 3.5 trillion as of September 2020. These various indicators of performance achievement were able to encourage UUS Bank DKI profit growth of 15.9% from IDR 227.3 billion as of September 2019 to IDR 263.5 billion as of September 2020.
Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit is also entrusted with distributing the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Places of Worship Operational Assistance (BOTI) funds to 3,200 mosques, 2,000 prayer rooms, 3,200 marbots and 3,200 Imams, through individual and non-individual Monas iB savings. The distribution of this aid is Bank DKI's commitment to supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program as well as the implementation of Governor's Decree Number 209 of 2019.
Increase BUMD Synergy
In developing business, UUS also builds synergy with BUMD DKI Jakarta, including PD Dharma Jaya. The synergy with PD Dharma Jaya includes optimizing sharia banking services including making it easy for PD Dharma Jaya employees to take part in the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage program. Through UUS, Bank DKI is also ready to support the marketing of sacrificial animals provided by Dharma Jaya.
