Jakarta – Bank DKI's consistency in encouraging the transformation of digital products and services has again been appreciated by independent institutions. Most recently, Bank DKI won 4 (four) award categories as well as The Best IT Development & Innovation, The Best IT Governance & The Best Digital Workplace in the Local Banking Industries category. Even more special, the Director of Bank DKI also received an award in the individual category as The Best CEO for Corporate Digital Transformation of The Year 2023, specifically given to the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy and The Best Chief Information & Digital Officer of The Year 2023, specifically given to the Director of Technology & Operations, Amirul Wicaksono.

The award was received directly by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy together with the Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono at the 2023 Digital Technology & Innovation Awards held in Jakarta on Wednesday (29/03/2023).

The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, expressed his gratitude to all customers, work partners and all stakeholders who continue to trust Bank DKI's products and services. "This award is a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's commitment to carrying out its role as a collaborator on economic growth in the regions, especially DKI Jakarta, which we realize through the development and innovation of digital-based products and services to expand the accessibility of financial products and services to the public," said Fidri.

In line with that, Bank DKI's Director of Technology & Operations, Amirul Wicaksono, added that winning this award is also a signal that the Transformation 5.0 strategic steps currently being implemented by Bank DKI are on the right track to increase Bank DKI's capability and capacity in responding to the challenges of the VUCA era and increasingly fierce competition for digitalization of services in the banking and financial industry.

The individual awards received by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy and the Director of Technology & Operations, Amirul Wicaksono, cannot be separated from the real contribution made in maintaining Bank DKI's business performance, including various strategic initiatives in innovation and development towards digital. Together with the command of the President Director, Fidri Arnaldy, Bank DKI is implementing the Transformation Program 5.0, which is an improvement program in all aspects, starting from the areas of Human Capital, Digital Technology as well as sharpening business lines and forming an ecosystem, all of which is coupled with the implementation of Governance, Risk and Compliance. Due to the implementation of this transformation strategy, Bank DKI succeeded in improving its financial performance by growing rapidly while remaining prudent and healthy, and was able to prove that it continues to grow positively during challenging economic conditions.

For information, this award is given to companies and individuals who are considered successful in implementing digital transformation in core business and services. The assessment process was carried out in stages by selecting around 400 (four hundred) BUMN, BUMD and private companies as nominees, then re-selected by the jury together with the organizing team based on various performance indicators and assessment of the implementation of digital technology and innovation of these companies. Only around 40 (forty) companies that meet the requirements are invited to give presentations and judging interviews. As a result, Bank DKI became one of the 36 (thirty six) best companies selected by the jury as winners.

Furthermore, Amirul said that Bank DKI also continues to strive to provide digital-based services to encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions. The latest, in the form of simple apps, namely JakOne Pay and super apps New JakOne Mobile. The newest JakOne Mobile comes with a more attractive and user friendly appearance and more complete features, including the feature of opening savings and deposit accounts online without having to visit a branch office, paying for transactions with QRIS, paying various bills and shopping online, top up electronic money, giving alms/donations, as well as the Mobile Cash feature. Cash withdrawals at ATMs without a card can be done at Bank DKI ATMs and other collaborating banks, such as Bank BNI ATMs and CIMB Niaga ATMs with the prima logo. Apart from that, it also includes the JakOne Abank application and the development of Digital Lending which is expected to maximize the implementation of financial inclusion for MSME players so that it can encourage accelerated economic growth, especially in DKI Jakarta.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that this award motivates Bank DKI to continue to innovate and improve competitiveness, service and company performance in a sustainable manner. "Facing 2023, Bank DKI is ready to continue to provide innovation through synergy and collaboration with various parties, including increasing financial support capacity through digitalization, in order to ensure community and regional economic progress as well as sustainable business development of Bank DKI," concluded Arie.
