Jakarta – Bank DKI has again received appreciation from independent institutions, this time from The Iconomics media as Indonesia Best 50 CEO in the Regional Bank Category, which was handed over directly at the 5th Anniversary Indonesia Best CEO Awards 2024, which was held in Jakarta on Thursday (21/03).

The Director of Technology and Operations and Acting Principal Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, through an official statement, expressed his gratitude for the award received and also dedicated it to the entire Management team and employees of Bank DKI who continue to provide the best performance for the Company.

"The awards won will certainly be an encouragement for Bank DKI to continue to improve its performance so that it can achieve its vision of becoming the bank of choice for the community and have implications for the Jakarta economy," said Amirul.

The Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2023 is a form of appreciation for the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and leaders of government/public institutions chosen by the panelists and The Iconomics from various sectors, both BUMN, BUMD, national and international private sector. The assessment is carried out through research using several criteria, including (1) Popularity, (2) Competency, (3) Personality, and (4) Crisis Leadership. Research was conducted on 10,000 respondents and the CEOs who won the award were those with the highest score in each industry or at least met a score of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00.

Founder & CEO of The Iconomics, Bram S Putro, when opening the awards event, said that Indonesia Best 50 CEO 2024 (Employees Choice) was a series of events from Indonesia Popular CEO and Indonesia Public Leader 2024.

"Indonesia Best 50 CEO 2024, which is held every year, has entered its fifth year, this award is a very prestigious award for leaders in Indonesia," added Bram.

Sustainable Growth Through Digitalization

Bank DKI continues to initiate development and innovation of digital-based products and services to expand accessibility, including the development of JakOne Mobile, JakCard card-based electronic payments, support for MSMEs with the JakOne Abank agency system, including various collaborative efforts such as integrated payment electronification in transportation modes, tourist attractions managed by the DKI Provincial Government, digitalization of market payments managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya, and various digital collaborations with BPD, BUMD and other entities.

The number of users of the JakOne Mobile mobile banking application for Bank DKI for the Q4 2023 period reached 2.23 million people, growing 12.11% (YoY) compared to the same period in Q4 2022, with a transaction volume of 29.62 million transactions and transaction nominal reaching IDR 30.63 trillion. The number of users of the JakOne Abank application, which is an agency system banking service using Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) devices in Q4 2023 reached 4.99 thousand agents, growing 170.42% (YoY) compared to the Q4 2022 period, with a transaction volume of 3.18 million transactions and transaction nominal reaching IDR 1.72 trillion. Meanwhile, JakOne Merchant users who provide real time payment services using QRIS in the Q4 2023 period reached 31.47 thousand merchants, growing 101.39% (YoY) compared to the same period the previous year, with a transaction volume of 3.25 million transactions and nominal transactions reaching IDR 533.55 billion.

Most recently, at the end of 2023, Bank DKI introduced the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is a digital solution based on an electronic card (JakCard Bank DKI) and application (JakOne Pay Bank DKI) which can be used to make it easier for tourists to access tourism services in Jakarta. JakOne Mobile – Jakarta Tourist Pass has a number of features, namely Maps which presents a list of tourist destination locations, the Event feature which is used as a source of location references, times and ticket prices for tourist destinations in Jakarta, payment features using the scan to pay method, balance updates, and JakCard Top Up. Meanwhile, the need for electronic tickets for integrated transportation in Jakarta, such as KRL Commuter Line, Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and LRT Jabodebek, can be accessed with Bank DKI's JakCard.

In line with that, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI continues to be committed to providing the best and innovative services for comfortable transactions, as well as supporting synergies with various parties in realizing Jakarta as a Global City.
