Continue to Improve Employee Competency

Bank DKI officially operates the Learning Center as an employee education and development facility located on Jl. Wijaya I number 7 Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Tuesday, December 29 2020.

The Soft Opening Learning Center was witnessed by the Head of the DKI Jakarta & Banten Regional 1 Financial Services Authority, Dhani Gunawan Idat, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BP BUMD), Faisal Syafruddin, accompanied by the Director of Compliance at Bank DKI, Ateng Rivai, along with the Board of Directors and Commissioners of Bank DKI, the event was also broadcast online witnessed by Bank DKI officials and employees.

Bank DKI Compliance Director, Ateng Rivai said that this Learning Center is in line with the direction of Shareholders and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) who are very concerned about developing and improving the quality of Bank DKI's Human Resources.

It was further stated that the Bank DKI Learning Center will become a center for developing quality human resource competencies that are able to provide professional, adaptive & characterful people, so as to encourage sustainable performance growth as its vision. The Learning Center was built on 3 floors with a millennial, cozy and techy concept supported by the latest technology which is expected to support a comfortable and productive educational and development atmosphere. The Learning Center facility is also equipped with a Mini Bank and Computer Lab which can be used as a place to practice banking services and operations. In the future, this Learning Center will also be equipped with a DKI Bank Service Office.

The Bank DKI Learning Center is also in line with Bank Indonesia's trust in Bank DKI in carrying out its function as a Job Training Institution in providing frontliner professional training and certification as an implementation of the Rupiah Payment and Currency Management System (SPPUR) program and which can be used by other BPDs.

"We express our gratitude for the support and trust given by regulators and shareholders for implementing Bank DKI's commitment to developing human resources," said Ateng Rivai.

On this occasion, the Head of BPBUMD DKI Jakarta Province, Faisal Syafruddin, who was present at the event, said, BP BUMD welcomes Bank DKI's strategic initiative which has built this Learning Center facility to develop its Human Resources competencies." It is possible that the presence of this facility owned by Bank DKI could become a model for other DKI Jakarta BUMDs to encourage collaboration between DKI Jakarta BUMDs in the field of human resource development, including in the development of the BUMD Academy.

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta & Banten Regional 1 Financial Services Authority, Dhani Gunawan Idat, expressed his appreciation to the Management of Bank DKI for being able to realize this Learning Center which is expected to be able to create reliable bankers for Bank DKI and other BPDs in the future.
