Jakarta - Encouraging the implementation of non-cash transactions in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI continues to embrace various agencies to become partners through the Digital Friends program which covers various agencies. Most recently, by welcoming the momentum of Ramadhan, Bank DKI supported the receipt of infaq from the congregation of the KH Grand Mosque. Hasyim Asyari uses QR Code based payments. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in DKI Jakarta (08/05)
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, "The public can now make non-cash infaq payments at mosques in DKI Jakarta that accept payments using the JakOne Mobile QR Code or QRIS. We want to socialize the ease of charity payments via the QR Code scanning method, especially for the wider community." As is known, people who want to do charity or donate can use the scan to pay method using the JakOne Mobile application. Simply open the JakOne Mobile application then select "Scan To Pay" and the user will automatically be directed to enter the desired amount for the donation account. Charity payment methods or donations via the QRIS scanning method can be done on a QR code with the QRIS logo.
Currently Bank DKI has provided QR Codes for more than 2,000 mosques spread across various areas in Jakarta. Some of them are large mosques such as the Istiqlal Mosque, Sunda Kelapa Mosque, and various other mosques including the KH Hasyim Asyari Grand Mosque.
Herry added that the public can also take advantage of the JakOne Mobile feature through zakat & infaq payment options through various institutions such as Bank DKI Peduli, Baznas (Bazis) DKI Jakarta, LazisMU, Al-Azhar Mosque, NU Care, ACT Foundation, Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation, DKI Jakarta Indonesian Cancer Foundation or other donation institutions. It is hoped that this non-cash banking service support will make it easier for people to channel some of their good fortune to charity and donations in addition to using other methods such as through the transfer menu between accounts. These two payment systems complement the donation options at Bank DKI ATMs when completing transactions.
Apart from carrying out digital charity payment outreach activities directly, compensation was also handed over to a number of orphans from the KH Hasyim Asyari Mosque Management worth IDR 300,000 to 100 recipients of donations which was handed over symbolically by the Director of MSE Credit & Sharia Business of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi.
"We hope that, through the educational activities of the Digital Friends Program, the community, especially mosque administrators, will become more open to the use of non-cash transactions. In this case, Bank DKI is ready to support providing digital banking services such as QRIS, as well as the Cash Management System which can be used to manage funds. Apart from that, the public can use JakOne Mobile for various banking needs ranging from checking accounts, transfers, paying various bills as well as for zakat and donation needs," concluded Herry.
