KLJ, KPDJ and KAJ Social Assistance Funds (Bansos) Disbursed Gradually, Let's Check Out the Mechanism

Launching the Instagram page @dinsosdkijakarta, disbursement of funds for the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ) will be carried out in stages starting Tuesday, August 16 2022 at 17.00 WIB.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, in his written statement on Tuesday, August 16 2022, said, "the disbursed funds for recipients of the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) are IDR 2,400,000,- to 59,759 new recipients, then for recipients of the Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ) it varies according to the recipient's age range starting from IDR 300,000,- to IDR 1,200,000,- to "7,118 new recipients and recipients of the Jakarta Disabled Persons Card (KPDJ) amounting to IDR 1,200,000 to 7,461 new recipients. The funds transferred are planned from May to August 2022. Meanwhile, distribution for old recipients will continue starting this Thursday and Friday, 18-19 August 2022."

As is known, the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) is a program to fulfill basic needs for elderly people aged 60 years and over from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Furthermore, the Jakarta Children's Card is a program to fulfill basic needs for children, such as fulfilling children's nutritional needs for milk, nutritious food, and other supporting needs that support the development of children aged 0 to 6 years. Lastly, the Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ) is an assistance program that aims to prevent social vulnerability for people with disabilities in DKI Jakarta, as well as meeting their basic needs.

Each recipient of this assistance will receive monthly assistance funds of IDR 600,000 for the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) and IDR 300,000 for the Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ) and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ). KLJ, KAJ and KPDJ themselves are in the form of ATM cards issued by Bank DKI which can be used for transaction needs by card holders. It also has other benefits in the form of free Transjakarta rides, ease of buying subsidized food, and being automatically registered as a JakGrosir member.

Furthermore, Herry appealed to customers who received KLJ, KAJ and KPDJ to always be careful and alert, and not to give their PIN to other unauthorized people. He also reminded customers receiving KLJ, KAJ, KPDJ and other social assistance to be alert and careful about unofficial information in the name of Bank DKI, "for further information, you can contact the Bank DKI call center at telephone number 1500-351 or visit the official Bank DKI website at www.bankdki.co.id," added Herry.

To make it easier to monitor transactions, Herry also invited KLJ, KAJ and KPDJ recipients to download the JakOne Mobile application. "Through JakOne Mobile, social assistance card holders can monitor incoming and outgoing social assistance fund transactions and carry out various non-cash banking transactions through the Scan to Pay feature," concluded Herry
