Synergy between Bank DKI and PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Officially Names the Bank DKI HI Roundabout Station

Jakarta – Bank DKI has again entered into a partnership with MRT Jakarta, through station naming rights from Bundaran HI Station to Bank DKI Bundaran HI Station, which was inaugurated in Jakarta on Tuesday (08/10) by the President Director of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), Tuhiyat, and the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo. The inauguration was also witnessed by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, along with the Board of Directors and Commissioners of MRT Jakarta and the Directors of Bank DKI, including President Commissioner of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Dodik Wijanarko, Director of Business Development PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Farchad Mahfud, Director of Finance & Strategy of Bank DKI Romy Wijayanto, Director of Commercial & Institutional Bank DKI Herry Djufraini, Director of Retail & Sharia Henky Oktavianus, Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI Amirul Wicaksono, and Director of Compliance at Bank DKI Ateng Rivai.

The naming of the Bank DKI HI Roundabout Station is a continuation of the synergy between Bank DKI and MRT Jakarta, which was previously established through Bank DKI's support for the launch of MartiPay by MRT Jakarta, which is a collaboration on the co-branding of Bank DKI's digital product, JakOne Pay to become MartiPay, as a non-cash payment option for the MRT Jakarta transportation mode.

President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, explained at the inauguration that this synergy marks an important step in strengthening the synergy between Bank DKI and MRT Jakarta in the context of improving public transportation services in Jakarta. "The inauguration of naming rights is a form of manifestation of the synergy and contribution of BUMD DKI Jakarta in creating a public transportation ecosystem that is safe, easy and comfortable for the citizens of DKI Jakarta, especially in supporting Jakarta's agenda to become a Global Standard Business City," said Agus.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added that the naming of the Bank DKI HI Roundabout Station is also part of Bank DKI's branding strategy in increasing brand awareness by reintroducing the digital products JakCard, JakOne Pay, and JakOne Mobile which can be utilized by public transportation users with various conveniences. "Hopefully the synergy that has been established will further strengthen public services in Jakarta and inspire other collaborative steps in the future. The plan is for this naming partnership to last until 2027," said Arie.

The Main Director of MRT Jakarta, Tuhiyat, revealed that MRT Jakarta continues to encourage cooperation and collaboration in advancing the public transportation system to support people's lifestyles in various fields. "This partnership between MRT Jakarta and Bank DKI complements and shows that MRT Jakarta embraces and is open to anyone in terms of developing Jakarta as the epicenter of the national economy and business. Of course, we hope that there will be more cooperation and innovation that can be collaborated to improve the experience of MRT Jakarta passengers," he concluded.

Support for Digitalization of Public Transport Payments

Bank DKI continues to strengthen its commitment in supporting digital transformation in the transportation sector which is realized through various synergies, starting from JakCard which can now be used as a card-based digital payment option on integrated transportation in DKI Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, Mikrotrans, MRT, LRT, Jabodebek Commuter Line, as well as payment for entrance tickets at several tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. To the synergy between Bank DKI and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Department by presenting the Jakarta Tourist Pass as an integrated digital solution for electronic cards (JakCard) and applications (JakOne Pay), to support tourism in DKI Jakarta.
