Bank DKI Establishes Collaboration with UNS
Jakarta, July 22 2024PT Bank DKI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta regarding the Implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education and the Implementation of Independent Campus Learning (MBKM). The agenda was held in Courtroom 1, Dr. UNS Prakosa, Friday (14/6/2024).
The signing of the memorandum of agreement was carried out directly by Plt. UNS Chancellor, Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., M.H. with the Director of PT Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini.
The purpose of signing this MoU is to apply and carry out the development of education, research and community service, implementation of MBKM and development of Human Resources (HR). The agreement is valid for a period of five years from the date it is signed.
So far, even though there has been no formal MoU between UNS and Bank DKI, Bank DKI has helped UNS several times, for example in sponsoring activities and in distributing scholarships from the DKI Provincial Government to selected UNS students from DKI.
"We really hope that this collaboration can support human resource development both at UNS and at Bank DKI. With this collaboration, we can learn from each other and share knowledge and experience to improve the competency and quality of the human resources we have," said Dr. Chatarina in her speech.
Apart from that, the agenda for signing this MoU is a step taken by Bank DKI to provide banking services in the regions, as well as overcome the increasing cases of online loans that ensnare students.
"Apart from providing banking services, Bank DKI also focuses on macro and micro economic services, as well as resolving online loan problems which currently ensnare many students. In fact, from the data we have, students who are ensnared in online loans have a nominal value of 2 to 3 trillion or more," said the Director of PT Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini.
This collaboration with Bank DKI is also clear evidence of UNS's focus as a university that contributes to achieving sustainable development and the vision of a golden Indonesia 2045.
Collaboration with industry is also one of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of higher education to maintain relevance between the Industrial World and the Educational World (DUDI), as well as to produce innovations that can be utilized by industry.
