KJP Funds Disbursed, Bank DKI Urges KJP Plus & KJMU Holders to Comply with PSBB

Starting May 15 2020, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will once again distribute education tuition assistance to Jakarta residents who hold the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus and the Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU). Beneficiary residents can disburse the aid by withdrawing cash at Bank DKI ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) spread across DKI Jakarta and its surroundings. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in writing in Jakarta (15/05).
Herry appealed to customers when withdrawing KJP Plus and KJMU funds to comply with the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) rules to avoid the spread of Covid-19. "Because the situation is still prone to the spread of Covid-19, we ask customers who wish to withdraw KJP funds to maintain a physical distance of at least 1 meter, do not crowd, and must wear masks without exception," said Herry. He also asked people who hold KJP to postpone going to ATMs if there is a crowd and cannot maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter.
In order to avoid crowds, Herry reminded KJP Plus & KJMU recipients that they do not need to withdraw their funds simultaneously on the same day. "Because the funds that are entitled to them remain safe. "There's no need to worry, the funds that are entitled to KJP recipients are stored safely at Bank DKI. A penny will not be lost. So you don't have to rush to disburse them," explained Herry.
To maintain security and avoid the spread of the Corona virus, Herry also recommends that customers carry out non-cash transactions via JakOne Mobile. KJP Plus & KJMU holders who have linked their KJP account with JakOne Mobile can check their balance without having to go to a Bank DKI ATM. KJP Plus & KJMU holders can also enjoy the convenience of various banking transactions via JakOne Mobile.
For information, the distribution of KJP Plus and KJMU funds is carried out in stages. KJP Plus holders for SD/SDLB/MI levels can make cash withdrawals starting May 15 2020. Meanwhile for SMP/SMPLB/MTs/PKBM starting May 18 2020 and . for SMA/SMALB/MA/SMK as well as students holding KJMU starting May 20 2020. Disbursement of Bridging Funds or additional fees for class XII students will also be carried out in May 2020.
Different from before, there are changes to the KJP Plus and KJMU fund disbursement schemes in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Routine fund disbursement is still done monthly, but periodic funds can be disbursed monthly. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also provided relaxation in the use of KJP Plus and KJMU where in this pandemic situation KJP Plus and KJMU can be used for food, health and education needs.
