Facilitating Environmentally Friendly Vehicle Ownership, Bank DKI Collaborates with PT Bumi Hijau Motor, PT Gowa Modern Motor, and PT Kars Inti Amanah

Jakarta - Bank DKI together with PT Bumi Hijau Motor, PT Gowa Modern Motor, and PT Kars Inti Amanah have entered into a strategic collaboration in order to facilitate the ownership of environmentally friendly vehicles for the community, which was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, together with the Director of PT Bumi Hijau Motor and concurrently the President Director of PT Gowa Modern Motor, Hariyadi Kaimuddin, and the President Director of PT Kars Inti Amanah, Fery Irawan in Jakarta on Thursday (26/09). This collaboration is part of Bank DKI's commitment to supporting the Government's program to accelerate the use of environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia.

Director of Retail and Sharia at Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, said that this collaboration was a concrete manifestation of Bank DKI's support for energy transformation in Indonesia. "Together with PT Bumi Hijau Motor, PT Gowa Modern Motor, and PT Kars Inti Amanah, we support the acceleration of the use of environmentally friendly vehicles which can not only encourage business growth, but also create a cleaner and more sustainable environment, in line with the Government's strategic program," said Henky.

Through this collaboration, Bank DKI offers Multi-Purpose Credit/Financing products (KMG/KMG iB) which are specifically designed to facilitate public access to owning environmentally friendly vehicles. This product provides flexible financial solutions with competitive interest rates, so that people can more easily switch to environmentally friendly vehicles. Apart from multi-purpose financing, this collaboration provides an opportunity for the public to easily purchase Hyundai vehicles from PT Gowa Modern Motor, United electric motorbikes from PT Kars Inti Amanah and BYD electric cars from PT Bumi Hijau Motor.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, in his official statement added that this collaboration is in line with the government's program through the Grand National Energy Strategy which targets the use of around 2 million electric cars and 13 million electric motorbikes by 2030.

"Bank DKI is ready to make a real contribution in achieving this target by providing wider access to financing for the community. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the environmentally friendly vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia as well as being a step forward for all parties involved in advancing environmentally friendly transportation technology," said Arie.

Apart from supporting the ownership of environmentally friendly vehicles, Bank DKI also continues to implement various other environment-based initiatives, such as financing electric buses for Transjakarta, as well as CSR programs that focus on environmental sustainability, such as planting Mangroves and Tabebuya and the Jakarta Hydroponics program.
