Strengthening BUMD Synergy, Bank DKI Encourages Digitalization of the PAM Jaya Payment System

Jakarta – Bank DKI and PAM Jaya are continuing strategic steps in strengthening synergy between Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, which was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement by the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, and the President Director of PAM Jaya, Arief Nasrudin on Tuesday (24/12) in Jakarta, regarding support for the digitization of the PAM Jaya payment system which aims to increase operational efficiency, financial transparency, and provide added value for PAM Jaya customers, as well as the people of Jakarta as a whole.

In his remarks, the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo said, "As a BUMD, this synergy not only strengthens relations between regional companies, but is a form of support for the work program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, especially innovation steps in creating better and digitally integrated public services," said Agus.

This collaboration includes three strategic initiatives, namely host-to-host financial system integration which allows managing PAM Jaya's financial transactions digitally for efficiency and security, implementing Virtual Accounts as a water bill payment method which can be accessed via the JakOne Mobile application, Bank DKI ATMs, and other payment channels, as well as an online water bill payment acceptance system through a collection agent (Aggregator) to provide flexibility and convenience to customers.

In line with this, the President Director of PAM Jaya, Arief Nasrudin, emphasized that this synergy is an important milestone in the transformation of drinking water services in Jakarta, "We believe that with the support of Bank DKI, PAM Jaya can provide more transparent and efficient services to customers. This collaboration is also in line with our commitment to providing innovative solutions that support better public services and drinking water management," said Arief.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, in his official statement added, "This synergy is a real step in presenting modern and inclusive payment solutions. Bank DKI is committed to continuing to support digital transformation, not only to increase customer comfort, but also as a form of synergy to support the sustainable growth of the BUMD ecosystem," said Arie.

This collaboration also reflects Bank DKI's commitment to building a financially integrated BUMD ecosystem and supporting public service infrastructure in Jakarta. Previously, Bank DKI and PAM Jaya had synergized in opening accounts, paying new employee salaries, managing project accounts, as well as digital transactions for paying water bills via the JakOne Mobile application and Bank DKI ATMs. This collaboration shows the continuous efforts of the two BUMDs to provide optimal services and support the development of the BUMD ecosystem in Jakarta.
