Bank DKI – Food Station Collaboration, Build a Business Ecosystem in DKI Jakarta

Supporting food security in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI strengthens business collaboration with Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, one of the Food BUMDs in DKI Jakarta. This collaboration includes the signing of a business ecosystem collaboration cooperation agreement between PT Bank DKI and Tjipinang Jaya Food Station and the signing of a credit agreement for MSME traders at the Cipinang Rice Main Market in Jakarta (10/03). Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy said that Bank DKI is ready to support the Food Station business ecosystem by becoming a one stop banking service solution through digital banking services to visitors and traders at the Cipinang Rice Main Market.
On this occasion, a cooperation agreement on the rice supply program for Bank DKI employees (Berkawan) was also signed by the Director of Finance of Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto and the Main Director of Food Station, Pamrihadi Wiraryo witnessed by the Acting Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Budi Purnomo and the Main Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, together with the Director of MSE Credit & Sharia Business of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi, Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono as well as the Food Station Operations and Business Director, Andre Maulana and the Food Station Director of Finance and General Affairs, Budi Santoso.
The Main Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, said that Food Station has very promising business potential for distributing credit to both MSMEs and Commercial. With a total of 298 traders, Food Station is a good market for distributing MSME credit. Every year Bank DKI also distributes Working Capital Credit, Current Account Loans to Food Stations and supply chain financing credit to suppliers. In 2021, Bank DKI will also provide commercial credit to Food Station.
Acting Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Budi Purnomo said that the collaboration between Bank DKI and Food Station is expected to increase added value for both BUMDs and can support food security and empower MSMEs in DKI Jakarta. He also supports the Employee Rice program which is expected to provide benefits to Bank DKI and Food Station.
Main Director of Food Station, Pamrihadi, said that in maintaining food security in the Jakarta area, his party collaborates with various parties, including government agencies, the private sector and BUMD, including Bank DKI. He also called this collaboration an effort by Food Station as one of the Food BUMDs to provide food needs in Jakarta. "So this Berteman program not only helps absorb Food Stations, but also absorbs rice from farmers in various production center areas," said Pamrihadi.
Apart from providing credit, Fidri added that Bank DKI has also entered the market ecosystem by providing a payment system and implementing non-cash transactions to provide easy transactions for visitors and Food Station traders. One of them is providing a payment and transaction system to support cheap food programs for Jakarta residents through EDC Bank DKI. Apart from that, Bank DKI is also a payment system at the Food Station Webstore via Virtual Account and in the future it will be integrated with JakOne Mobile and QRIS Bank DKI.
Bank DKI also provides ease of transactions for Food Station traders through the JakOne Bills service where traders can pay shop market maintenance fees and annual warehouse bills online. The potential revenue funds for paying these two bills are estimated to bring in income of IDR 43.2 billion for the Food Station. Previously, Bank DKI had also provided Merchant Cards to Food Station traders where the cards could function as identity cards, ATM cards and Bank DKI JakCards and could be used as a means of paying merchant levies.
Complementing the digital ecosystem that has been developed, Bank DKI is ready to support the implementation of an electronic parking payment system using JakCard and QR. Fidri also said that Bank DKI is also ready to support the digitalization of MSMEs in the Food Station environment by inviting all MSME traders to become JakOne Abank agents. "Through the collaboration that Bank DKI DKI continues to carry out with Food Station, it is hoped that it can strengthen the business ecosystem that has been built so far, as well as provide a positive impact in supporting food security in DKI Jakarta," concluded Fidri.
