Bank Jakarta Wins Indonesia 50 Best CEO Awards & Indonesia Best COO Awards 2026

In the midst of the transformation efforts that are being rolled out, Bank Jakarta received the Indonesia 50 Best Chief Executive Officer Awards & Indonesia Best Chief Operations Officer Awards 2026 held by The Iconomics in Jakarta (17/04). President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H Widodo received an award from The Iconomics as The Best CEO Category Employee Choice in the Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2026, while Bank Jakarta's Director of Technology & Operations, Daniel Setiawan Subianto also received an award as Indonesia Best COO (Chief Operations Officer) Awards 2026.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in his written statement expressed his gratitude to all customers and stakeholders for the trust they have given to Bank Jakarta so far. Agus said that this trust would be a strong encouragement for Bank Jakarta to continue to innovate in providing the best service for customers. He also said that this award was also a special gift for Bank Jakarta to commemorate its 65th anniversary on April 11 2026.

Agus further revealed the importance of adaptation amidst the challenging industrial realities. Agus emphasized that the rapid development of technology and consumer behavior requires a fast and innovative response. "We realize that expectations for Bank Jakarta continue to increase, therefore, there is no other option but to transform and innovate consistently," stressed Agus.

In line with Agus, Daniel also expressed his response regarding achievements in the operational and technological fields. "This award is a reflection of the hard work of all Bank Jakarta employees in integrating technology and well-integrated operations. We are committed to continuing to strengthen our digital infrastructure to ensure faster, safer and more reliable services for all customers," said Daniel.

The Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2026 and the Indonesia Best COO Awards 2026, were given to CEOs and COOs chosen by panelists and The Iconomics who came from multi-industry BUMN, BUMD and national and international private companies who were considered superior in various aspects of leadership and innovation. The assessment was carried out through a survey of thousands of staff/employees from various industries and categories, with a total of nearly 10,000 respondents (cumulative) in early 2026. The CEOs and COOs who won the award were those who achieved the highest scores in their respective sub-industry categories or got an average score of 4.0 or more from 4 parameters, namely (1) Popularity, (2) Competency, (3) Personality, and (4) Crisis Leadership.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that this inspiring achievement is a special motivation for all Bank Jakarta employees as a driver of company transformation. "Hopefully this award will ignite Bank Jakarta's enthusiasm to be able to become an innovative and adaptive bank in supporting the realization of Jakarta becoming a global city," concluded Arie.
