Bank DKI Wins the 2022 Indonesia Syariah Award

Recording positive financial performance growth, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit (UUS) received the Best Syariah Unit Business category award given by The Iconomics at the 2nd Indonesia Syariah Award 2022. The award was received directly by the Director of Retail and Sharia of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi in Jakarta (31/03).
This award is given to companies with Sharia principles that have good performance in 2021 and can maintain good performance during the current economic recovery period. This assessment aspect includes quantitative and qualitative assessments, such as financial statements, profitability ratios, and other performance indicators.
The development of Bank DKI's UUS can be seen from the financial performance of the Sharia Business Unit in Quarter IV 2021 which grew positively. UUS Bank DKI distributed financing amounting to IDR 6.40 trillion as of December 2021, or grew by 6.8% from IDR 5.99 trillion as of December 2020. This financing was dominated by distribution of financing to the productive sector amounting to IDR 4.19 trillion, or 65.5% of the total financing, and the consumer sector amounting to IDR 2.20 trillion. Furthermore, Babay Parid said that Bank DKI UUS DPK growth grew 33.8%, namely IDR 5.72 trillion as of December 2021 compared to the December 2020 period of IDR 4.27 trillion. The various financial performance achievements of Bank DKI's UUS have also encouraged an increase in Bank DKI's overall asset performance which grew by 12.2% from IDR 63.05 trillion as of December 2020 to IDR 70.74 trillion as of December 2021.
