JakCard and JakOne Mobile are Increasingly Popular, Bank DKI Achieves Popular Digital Brand

JakCard and JakOne Mobile are increasingly in demand, Bank DKI won the Popular Digital Brand award for electronic money and electronic payments at the 3rd Indonesia's Most Popular Digital Financial Brands Awards 2022 organized by Iconomics. The award was received directly by the Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in Jakarta (24/2).
This award is given to companies that have contributed and innovated in digital development in Indonesia based on the results of a survey of 12 thousand millennial generation respondents from 10 big cities in Indonesia. Measurements are made on product awareness and product image of a digital product.
Amirul expressed his gratitude to JakCard and JakOne Mobile product users, "Bank DKI's achievement in winning the award is thanks to customers' trust in using Bank DKI's JakCard and JakOne Mobile products. This award is our enthusiasm to continue to encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions in DKI Jakarta and its surroundings through digital banking products and services from Bank DKI."
To meet the increasing need for digital banking products, Bank DKI continues to develop various digital products and services, including JakCard and JakOne Mobile. Bank DKI observed an increase in the number of transactions for digital banking products, where JakCard transactions in 2021 reached 2.14 million transactions, an increase of 40.20% from JakCard transactions in 2020 which reached 1.53 million transactions.
JakCard can be widely used as an e-ticket for various modes of public service transportation such as TransJakarta, Mikro Trans, JakLingko public transportation, MRT Jakarta, LRT, and even airport trains/Railink. JakCard is also the main means of payment in various tourist areas owned by the provincial government. DKI Jakarta such as Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, Planetarium, Ancol and various museums.
As of January 2022, Bank DKI has more than 17 thousand merchants who have joined Bank DKI's JakOne Mobile QRIS service, with the number of users reaching 1.6 million users and the number of transactions reaching 18.38 million transactions in 2021 or an increase of 38.51% compared to 2020 which reached 13.27 million transactions. This achievement shows the increasing trend of digitization of digital economic and financial transactions.
Most recently, in collaboration with Jakarta Smart City, Bank DKI is now presenting the JakOne Pay electronic money feature in the JAKI application. With this integration, Jaki application users who have downloaded the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application can carry out scan to pay transactions at more than 13 million merchants who are connected to QRIS.
Apart from integrating JakOne Pay into the Bank DKI application, it continues to develop products and services, including presenting JakOne Community Apps, which is a digital banking service to encourage the implementation of financial inclusion as well as through the development of digital products and services. The JakOne Community Apps themselves consist of JakOne Mobile, JakOne Abank, JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, Ancol Apps to Si Ondel.
