Bank DKI and PT SMF Establish Partnership to Maximize FLPP Distribution

Jakarta - Bank DKI and PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (SMF) have entered into a bipartite collaboration to utilize the 25% counterpart fund portion of housing financing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility Program (FLPP), which was ceremoniously signed by the Director of Retail & Sharia of Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, and the Director of Securitization and Financing of PT SMF, Heliantopo, in Jakarta on Monday (23/09).

Through this collaboration, Bank DKI will utilize financing from the 25% portion of matching funds provided by PT SMF to strengthen long-term funding, where the 75% portion of FLPP financing has been provided by BP Tapera. This is expected to expand community access to decent and affordable housing.

FLPP is an Indonesian government program which aims to provide access to affordable housing finance for low-income people (MBR). Through FLPP, the Government provides interest subsidies and funding facilities that make it easier for people to get decent housing with lower installments. This program involves various institutions, including banks and financial institutions, to increase financing capacity and it is hoped that more people will be able to have decent and affordable housing.

Bank DKI Retail & Sharia Director, Henky Oktavianus said "This partnership is a strategic step in contributing to expanding inclusive financial access, especially in terms of providing opportunities for people to own housing. By utilizing matching funds, Bank DKI is optimistic that it can increase financing capacity and provide better housing financing solutions," hoped Henky.

Furthermore, he emphasized that this collaboration is also Bank DKI's commitment to support the Government's program to reduce the 'backlog' or need for housing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) subsidy program, with the role of Bank DKI to provide easy access to housing financing products for low-income people (MBR) and the general public.

"Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that apart from building partnership schemes with stakeholders in the housing finance sector, Bank DKI continues to strive to expand access to housing finance, including simplifying the KPR process by optimizing the analysis process to speed up the approval process, as well as ensuring product and service information is clear and complete," concluded Arie.
