Bank DKI Provides Compensation to 8,500 Orphans & Dhuafa

Jakarta – In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H/2024 AD, Bank DKI provided compensation worth IDR 1.7 billion to 8,500 orphans and poor people from 5 areas of the DKI Jakarta Administrative City. The symbolic gift of compensation was handed over directly by the Director of Finance and Strategy of Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto, which was carried out at the Bank DKI Head Office in Jakarta, on Thursday (28/3). Romy said that the compensation was an expression of Bank DKI's gratitude for the company's various performance achievements in the 2023 financial year, and was a form of Bank DKI's concern as part of the DKI Jakarta community.

Romy said, "Thank God, in 2023, Bank DKI recorded a positive performance achievement with a net profit of IDR 1.02 trillion, the highest in the company's history since 1961. We realize that this achievement is certainly thanks to the blessing and grace of Allah SWT as well as the support and trust of the entire community."

On the same occasion, Romy also introduced the My Savings Product as motivation for all the children present, so that they could be wise in managing their savings for the future. He then added that in the future Bank DKI will continue to carry out its business role through various collaborations to support Jakarta, Global City.

Bank DKI also continues to provide the best service, especially to customers, and continues its role in supporting various work programs of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which are closely related to the people of Jakarta, such as the distribution and management of Jakarta Smart Card accounts, the Jakarta Excellent Student Card, the Jakarta Elderly Card, the Dasawisma Card, and the Jakarta Worker Card.
