Bank Jakarta Present at "Narrative Night Market 2025", Encouraging Non-Cash Transactions Through Creative and Inclusive Methods

Jakarta – Bank Jakarta officially presents an official payment system at the Pasar Malem Narasi 2025 event which will take place at Hutan Kota, GBK, Jakarta 25-26 October 2025 as an effort to encourage the use of non-cash transactions, especially for the younger generation.

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, who was also present at the opening of the event, welcomed the cross-party collaboration at Pasar Malam Narasi 2025. "I saw that the crowd was extraordinarily good and the MSMEs also got the opportunity for them to sell their goods. I honestly felt like when I was little in my hometown called Pasar Malam, it was exactly like this," said Pramono.

He added that it is hoped that similar activities can be held in various areas of Jakarta so that more residents can enjoy the atmosphere of togetherness and support the local economy.

"And hopefully something like this can also be held in several places in Jakarta. I also made an offer to the committee, not just at GBK, if you want at Lapangan Banteng or another place, Jakarta is happy to cooperate. Because I think this is a good moment for Jakarta residents to stay in touch, work together, gather, be comfortable, safe, happy," said Pramono.

With the ease of transactions offered, Bank Jakarta is also collaborating with MSMEs who are tenants to implement non-cash payments, one of which is using the QRIS scanning method.

President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in his statement in Jakarta (24/10) said, by providing a payment system to all tenants at the event, Bank Jakarta played a role in increasing financial literacy through creative but still inclusive ways. "By being present as an official payment system at Pasar Malem Narasi 2025, we want to expand people's experience of digital financial services that are easy, fast and safe," said Agus.

Pasar Malem Narasi 2025 is a creative event organized by Narasi TV with various activities, such as talk shows, Jakarta entertainment parades, reading corners, and bazaars involving various regional organizations in the concept of Special Moment Collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. In its implementation, this event also collaborates with BUMD DKI Jakarta, including Bank Jakarta, through the form of Special Activity Collaboration. In particular, Bank Jakarta also presents a booth with various interesting activities as well as a mobile branch that visitors can use to access various information on Bank Jakarta products and services.

Furthermore, Agus said that Bank Jakarta's participation in this activity was also in line with Bank Jakarta's commitment to strengthening the synergy of Jakarta's digital ecosystem, especially now that Bank Jakarta is in the transformation stage through new branding which continues to be strengthened. "Bank Jakarta's involvement also opens up potential business opportunities, including for the MSME sector and the younger generation, in line with Bank Jakarta's new spirit as a modern bank and ready to enter the national arena," said Agus.
