Consistent Implementation of the Small Business Empowerment Program, Bank DKI Receives Appreciation from Bank Indonesia

Jakarta – Bank DKI again received appreciation from Bank Indonesia, this time Bank DKI together with 13 (thirteen) other banks were named as Business Matching Banks for MSME Financing. The award was received directly by the Director of Retail & Sharia at Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Jakarta Creative Festival which was held in Jakarta on Sunday (09/06).

Henky expressed his appreciation for the award given, while also giving his view that banking today is experiencing an era of intense competition. Therefore, Bank DKI is committed to adapting, developing and innovating continuously, as an effort to continue to grow sustainably.

"This award is also an encouragement for Bank DKI to continue developing digital products and services, including support for the MSME sector which is the backbone of the economy, as a form of support for achieving the vision of Jakarta as a Global City," said Henky.

Jakarta Creative Festival 2024 is an annual activity organized by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government together with Bank Indonesia, with the aim of promoting and developing the creative economy sector in Jakarta. This festival is also attended by business people from various fields, such as fashion, culinary, music, fine arts and technology.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi believes that digitalization is the key to accelerating regional economic growth, "Bank DKI will continue to work hard to expand the reach of digital services and invest in the latest technology to provide added value to the community and region," added Arie.

In the same event, Bank DKI also participated by providing digital tax payment services in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Bapenda. Bank DKI also introduced various digital products and services to facilitate non-cash banking transactions.

Financial Support for MSMEs

Bank DKI has made various efforts to encourage the growth of MSMEs, including the market digitalization program managed by PD Pasar Jaya, which allows traders and buyers in the market ecosystem to use access to digital services via QRIS for payment of buying and selling transactions, as well as access to payment of market fees and levies which can be done via Bank DKI's JakOne Mobile. Including a wide selection of products and services that are easily accessible for MSMEs, such as micro and MSME credit, as well as People's Business Credit (KUR) which can also be done through Bank DKI as one of the channeling banks.

Apart from that, the latest in another aspect, to support tourism, Bank DKI presents the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is a collaboration between Bank DKI and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office in providing digital solutions for tourists in the city of Jakarta which makes it easier for tourists to access popular destinations, transportation and other tourism services in Jakarta.
