Bank DKI and BCA Collaboration, Bank DKI Customers Can Deposit and Withdraw Cash Without a Card on the BCA ATM Network

Jakarta, 26 September 2022 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has collaborated with PT Bank DKI to utilize the BCA cash deposit and withdrawal ATM (Cash Recycling Machine/CRM) network to meet the cardless deposit and withdrawal needs of Bank DKI customers. With this collaboration, Bank DKI customers can make cardless cash deposits and withdrawals at the BCA ATM network anywhere in the near future.
This collaboration was marked by an agreement signing ceremony carried out by the Director of BCA Santoso and the Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI Amirul Wicaksono, in Jakarta, on Monday (26/9). Also attending the ceremony were BCA Director Rudy Susanto, BCA Director Antonius Widodo, Bank DKI Compliance Director Ateng Rivai, and BCA Senior EVP Treasury & International Banking Branko Windoe.
Santoso said that the need for cardless cash deposits and withdrawals on the ATM network is still relatively high because not all transactions are carried out digitally. Apart from providing services to BCA customers, the BCA ATM network can also be utilized by banks or other financial institutions according to the availability of features, services and needs.
"We welcome this collaboration as part of efforts to provide the best service, not only to BCA customers, but also customers from other banks, such as Bank DKI. With this collaboration, Bank DKI customers can utilize the 16,839 BCA ATM network spread throughout the archipelago to make cash deposits and withdrawals in accordance with applicable regulations," said Santoso.
Santoso added that the collaboration between BCA and Bank DKI is a manifestation of an inter-bank service ecosystem according to the needs of each party. By complementing each other, both BCA and Bank DKI receive benefits from operational effectiveness while offering the best service options to each customer.
As is known, BCA has two types of ATMs, namely Cash Withdrawal ATMs and Multi-function ATMs. According to the type, cardless cash deposit services can only be done at multifunction ATMs, while cardless cash withdrawal services can be done through Cash Withdrawal and Multifunction ATMs. Cash deposit and withdrawal ATMs can accept denominations of IDR 100 thousand and IDR 50 thousand, with a maximum deposit amount of 100 notes. With cash deposit services, customer balances will automatically be effective immediately.
Meanwhile, Bank DKI's Director of Technology & Operations, Amirul Wicaksono expressed his thanks and appreciation for the collaboration between Bank DKI and BCA in utilizing the BCA Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) ATM network to meet the cardless cash withdrawal deposit needs of Bank DKI customers.
"Through the mobile cash service, in the near future Bank DKI customers will be able to make cash withdrawal and deposit transactions without using an ATM card via the JakOne Mobile application. The implementation of digital mobile cash services via the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application is also a manifestation of the digital transformation currently being carried out by Bank DKI. This is our (Bank DKI) adaptive step in meeting the needs and changes in customer behavior patterns which are increasingly moving towards digital."
Amirul also invited the public to be able to make transactions using the JakOne Mobile super app, the latest version of which is now available, as Bank DKI's effort to provide digital banking solutions for customers. With the latest version of JakOne Mobile which is more intuitive and has more attractive UI/UX display features, Bank DKI customers are expected to experience a more personal, mobile and reliable transaction experience starting from opening online savings accounts anywhere and anytime, paying various bills and online shopping, QRIS transactions, inter-bank transfers, electronic money top ups, giving alms/donations to others to opening online deposits.
For cardless cash deposits and withdrawals on the BCA ATM network, Bank DKI customers must make a request via the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application. From this request, Bank DKI customers will receive an identification number and transaction code. Bank DKI customers are required to input the identification number and transaction code at the BCA ATM, before finally being able to use the cardless cash deposit and withdrawal service in the CRM.
