Collaboration between Perbakin and Bank DKI to Hold the 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Shooting Championship

Jakarta – The Executive Board of the Indonesian Shooting Association (PB Perbakin) with full support from Bank DKI, is holding the 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Shooting Championship. The championship, which is also a qualifying event for the MQS (Minimum Qualification Score) PON Aceh - North Sumatra in 2024, will be held from 29 October to 5 November 2023 with 635 athletes from all provinces throughout Indonesia taking part, including 16 athletes from from Malaysia. The interesting thing is that the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, won first place in the Individual Pistol category at the 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Championship in Jakarta on Sunday (5/11).

The Chairman of PB Perbakin, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Joni Supriyanto, expressed his gratitude to the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono and his staff (including Bank DKI), who have held several shooting championships to prepare athletes for the 2024 PON event. "We have a motto that the best training is to compete. We are targeting Perbakin DKI athletes to win gold medals at the 2024 PON," he explained. He added that PB Perbakin has big dreams of donating a gold medal at the next Olympics. "We are optimistic that we will win gold medals at international sporting events," he said.

Acting President Director of PT Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, in his speech appreciated shooting athletes who have the mental and technical readiness and talent to compete and bring a good name to DKI Jakarta Province on the national and international stage. "How great our shooters are. Apart from that, shooting sports also carry a philosophy that teaches us to focus on achieving targets," said Amirul.

For your information, prizes were awarded at the peak of the National Shooting Championship "Bank DKI Cup 2023" on November 5 2023 for a number of categories, namely the Men's Individual Category, the Women's Individual Category, the Mixed Team category for Precision shooting at a distance of 25 M, and also the same category for Executive shooting at a distance of 20 M.
