Bank DKI Strengthens Collaboration with Padjadjaran University and STIA LAN Polytechnic
Jakarta, January 24 2024Jakarta – Bank DKI is increasingly active in expanding financial services by maximizing digital potential to provide easy transactions for customers, especially in the education sector. Most recently, Bank DKI collaborated with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University (FEB Unpad) and STIA LAN Polytechnic in utilizing banking and educational products and services, which was marked by the ceremonial signing of the Cooperation Agreement, in Bandung on Saturday (20/01).
Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Principal Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, welcomed the collaboration with FEB Unpad and STIA LAN Polytechnic and hoped to expand Bank DKI's financial ecosystem in the education sector. In this collaboration, Bank DKI will also provide banking services that can be used by FEB Unpad and STIA LAN Polytechnic as institutions, as well as students at these two educational institutions.
"These services include education, research, community service, student internships, expert assistance, as well as the use of banking and non-banking services," said Amirul.
The signing of this Cooperation Agreement was carried out directly by the Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Director (Plt.) of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University, Nunuy Nur Afiah, and Director of STIA LAN Jakarta Polytechnic, Nurliah Nurdin. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Joko Agus Setyono, the Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta Province, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono, and the Main Commissioner of Bank DKI, Bahrullah Akbar.
Amirul further explained that currently Bank DKI has superior digital services that can be enjoyed by all Bank DKI customers, namely the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI super app which provides digital services including online account opening, transfers between accounts, QRIS scans, payment of various bills and shopping, as well as Zakat and Donations.
Apart from that, Bank DKI is also developing JakOne Abank for MSME players, other digital services such as the Cash Management System, as well as online credit application applications with the JakLoan application. In terms of card-based non-cash transaction services, Bank DKI continues to expand the acceptance of JakCard which functions as an electronic money card for various modes of transportation in DKI Jakarta, and even entrance tickets to a number of museums and tourist attractions in Jakarta, such as Monas, Ragunan Wildlife Park, and Ancol.
Most recently, in an effort to support tourism in the city of Jakarta, Bank DKI collaborated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy to introduce a digital solution, the Jakarta Tourist Pass as a digital solution based on electronic money cards/e-money (JakCard Bank DKI) and electronic wallets/e-wallets (JakOne Pay Bank DKI) to make it easier for tourists to access popular destinations, transportation and other tourism services in the city of Jakarta.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added that through this collaboration Bank DKI is determined to create an ecosystem that supports academic growth and has a positive impact on society. This partnership not only benefits both parties, but also provides added value for the development of education and banking in Indonesia.
