The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) won the 2021 TPKAD Award as the best province in innovation in developing financial inclusion programs in urban areas from the Financial Services Authority. The award was handed over by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Wimboh Santoso to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan on the agenda of the TPAKD National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) in Jakarta, (16/12).

On that occasion, Anies appreciated the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government who are committed to increasing financial inclusion in DKI Jakarta, especially the One Student Account (KEJAR), JakLingko Goes to School and MSME Empowerment programs.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said that as a DKI Jakarta BUMD, Bank DKI fully supports the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's steps to increase financial inclusion for the student community through the One Student Account (KEJAR) program. "As of the November 2021 period, Bank DKI has 1.2 million Student Savings Account Numbers consisting of 1.09 million KJP holders, 114,658 Simple Savings account holders, as well as 5,400 non-Simple Savings and non-KJP savings accounts."

Bank DKI is also campaigning for the use of Jakcard & Jaklingko e-ticket cards for various modes of public service transportation such as TransJakarta, Micro Trans, JakLingko public transportation, MRT Jakarta, LRT, and even airport trains/Railink. Apart from that, to make it easier to top up Jakcard and Jak Lingko anytime and anywhere, it can be done via the Near Field Communication (NFC) feature of JakOne Mobile Bank DKI.

As part of financial inclusion which has an impact on empowering MSMEs, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government together with Bank DKI also contribute by providing access to capital for business actors who are members of the Jakpreneur program. Through this program, MSME activists will gain access to improve skills and independence in developing business potential, in collaborative ways between the provincial government, the world of education, the business world, society, institutions or other parties. Through the micro loan e-Form, Bank DKI makes it easy to submit Bank DKI micro credit applications for micro business actors online via computer or smartphone devices easily and safely.

Most recently, on November 25 2021, Bank DKI launched JakOne Abank at Pasar Santa, South Jakarta, which is a pilot project for market digitalization through the SIAP QRIS program promoted by Bank Indonesia. JakOne Abank is an office-less banking service where Bank DKI is present through an agent using a Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) device for paying taxes and levies, paying bills. By becoming a JakOne Abank, customers/traders who become agents can serve various banking transactions from the public and earn commissions from each transaction.

Furthermore, Bank DKI is also collaborating with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Goods and Services Procurement Service Agency (BPPBJ) to encourage the marketing of MSMEs in DKI Jakarta through the e-Order marketplace platform which can be accessed by DKI Jakarta Regional Work Units and BUMDs.

"We hope that a number of these services can provide benefits for all of us, especially for MSME players, as well as citizens who will find it easier to get access to capital and digital banking services to support Jakarta as a Collaborating City," concluded Herry.
